Achieving 100% completion in Crimson Desert is an enormous undertaking that spans the full main story, all side content, every collectible category, and mastery of every weapon type. The game features 34 achievements on PC/Xbox (35 on PS5 with the Platinum trophy), and earning them all requires roughly 300 or more hours of play. The estimated difficulty is 7 out of 10.
This checklist consolidates every requirement into a structured roadmap. It is designed to be followed in order, from early preparation through endgame cleanup, so you avoid common pitfalls that can waste dozens of hours.
The game does not track your actions retroactively. Almost every non-story achievement is tied to completing in-game challenges, and you do not receive credit for activities performed before you physically find the corresponding Sealed Abyss Artifact in the open world. If you spend forty hours mastering the bow before discovering the archery artifact, none of those bow kills count toward archery challenges. Always prioritize finding artifacts before grinding activities.
Complete these tasks as soon as possible after starting the game. They make everything else faster and prevent you from wasting effort.
Ring the 8 Hidden Bells. Each bell clears the fog of war from a region of the world map. Seven bells are accessible from Chapter 1 onward. The Pailune bell requires completing Chapter 7, and the Calphade bell is temporarily unavailable during Chapter 6. Getting these early reveals all locations, activities, and points of interest.
Activate all Fast Travel Points. While traveling between bells, activate every Abyss Nexus fast travel point you encounter. A comprehensive travel network saves enormous time later.
Collect all 141 Sealed Abyss Artifacts. These activate challenge tracking. Spread across the entire map, they are the single most important collectible category. Search ruins, hilltops, campsites, and hidden alcoves. Your challenge progress only starts counting after finding the artifact for each specific category.
Upgrade gear to refinement level 5 or 6. Many combat challenges become significantly easier with properly upgraded equipment. Focus on your primary weapon and a full armor set.
Progress through the main story while working on side content between missions. Five achievements are tied directly to story progression.
Achievement | Requirement |
|---|---|
Novice Adventurer | Complete Chapter 1. |
Master Camper | Activate camp at Howling Hill (Chapter 3). |
Protector of Pailune | Complete Chapter 7 (liberate Pailune). |
Expert Storyteller | Complete all main quests through the final chapter. |
Proud Returnee | Relocate camp to Pailune after Chapter 7. |
Each weapon type has its own set of challenges that must be completed for the corresponding mastery achievement. You must find the weapon's Sealed Abyss Artifact before any kills or actions with that weapon count.
Achievement | Weapon Type | |
|---|---|---|
Master of Swords | One-Handed Swords | 6 challenges |

Master of Rapiers | 5 challenges | |

Additionally, Grand Collector of Arms requires collecting 10 special weapons, and Unvanquished Strategist requires completing all mastery categories.

There are no permanently missable achievements in Crimson Desert. However, two specific challenges have timing restrictions that can make them much harder to complete if you progress too far in the story without finishing them first:
Battle Challenge: Sinking Fort and Cannon: Barraging Cannon V may become impossible to complete after you liberate the enemy bases where they take place. Obtain these challenge completions early, before clearing all watchtower strongholds.
Calphade Bell is temporarily unavailable during Chapter 6. Ring it before or after that chapter.
Start the game and progress through Chapter 1.
Ring all accessible bells (7 of 8) to clear the map.
Collect all 141 Sealed Abyss Artifacts across the world.
Complete watchtower battle challenges before liberating all bases.
Upgrade gear to refinement level 5 or 6.
Progress through the main story, completing side content between chapters.
After Chapter 7, ring the Pailune bell and relocate camp.
Systematically clear all weapon mastery challenges (one weapon at a time).
Complete exploration achievements: puzzles, Abyss dungeons, scenic wonders.
Finish all activity and faction achievements.
Mop up any remaining minigame, trading, or life skill challenges.
Verify all 34 achievements (35 on PS5) are unlocked.
The in-game Challenges menu tracks your completion percentage for each category. Open it regularly to check which challenges remain incomplete. Remember that a challenge only appears in the tracker after you find its corresponding Sealed Abyss Artifact.
For a detailed breakdown of every individual trophy and achievement, see the Trophies article. For a full list of every challenge by category, see the Challenges article.

Several trophies and completion milestones in Crimson Desert can be permanently missed if certain conditions are not met before progressing. Pay close attention to the following:
Sealed Abyss Artifacts: These collectibles must be found before completing the associated activities. Progress toward Abyss challenges does not count retroactively. If you clear an Abyss area without picking up its Sealed Artifact first, the opportunity is lost for that playthrough.
Battle challenges (Battlefield Conqueror): Some battle challenges are tied to watchtower encounters. Once a watchtower is liberated during the story, it cannot be revisited for battle challenges. Complete all watchtower-related battles before progressing past the liberation event.
Operation challenges (Brilliant Tactician): Similar to battle challenges, certain operation missions are available only during specific story windows. Check your challenge log regularly and complete any timed operations before advancing the main quest.
Above the Law challenges (Shadowlord): These challenges involve morally ambiguous actions that may only be available during certain story segments. Track your progress in the Challenges menu and complete them while they are still accessible.
As a general rule, check the Challenges menu frequently and prioritize any entries marked with a time-sensitive indicator. Making a manual save before each major story transition is recommended to preserve your ability to go back and complete missable content.
