Puzzle Solver is a Silver trophy awarded for completing every Ancient Ruin puzzle in Crimson Desert. The description reads "Sharp insight now guides you through any riddle." Ancient Ruins are self-contained puzzle chambers scattered across Pywel, each guarding an Abyss Cresset.
Overview
There are 37 Ancient Ruins. Each contains a unique environmental puzzle (disc inversion, statue rotation, pillar alignment, symbol stepping stones, grid matching, mural decoding, and others). Solving the puzzle activates the ruin's Abyss Cresset, awarding an Abyss Artifact and a permanent fast travel waypoint. Progress is tracked under the Thread in the Forest tab in the Journal. Pearl Abyss has cited Breath of the Wild's shrines as a design influence.

How to Earn
Ancient Ruins are not marked on your map by default. When you approach one, a "Mysterious Energy" question mark appears. To find them proactively, use Blinding Flash from high vantage points; it produces glints on the horizon marking undiscovered ruins, Secret Places, and Sealed Abyss Artifacts.
Common puzzle patterns include disc inversion (Force Palm one disc to flip neighbors, all must be pressed at once), statue rotation, pillar alignment, symbol stepping stones, red-light-green-light king statues, and mural decoding where you examine a cracked wall then visit the depicted real-world location. Some ruins hide inside caves, behind waterfalls, or at the end of cliff trails; if Blinding Flash points at a cliff base, check for a cave mouth or destructible wall. Tips
Work ruins in geographic clusters rather than hopping regions. Each ruin grants a fast-travel Cresset, so chaining nearby ones builds a travel network that speeds later runs. Hernand and Demeniss hold the densest clusters; start there. Unlock all tiers of Force Palm and Stab early since several ruins gate interaction behind higher-tier skills. Screenshot any diagram or mural you must interpret in the overworld; clue rooms are not visible from outside and losing the image forces a round trip.
