Plans: Timber Pillars, Beams, and Fences is a recipe paper in Windrose. Learning it adds the structural timber frame of the rustic build style to your menu: pillars, horizontal and angled beams, corners, and a simple log fence. These are early, cheap pieces well suited to a first base or a quick outpost.

This plan belongs to the Old World building set. Like every recipe paper, it is a schematic: you learn it once at your base, after which the pieces it teaches become available in the build menu. The paper itself is sold by the Smugglers of Port Royal Provisioner, whose schematic stock unlocks as your reputation with that faction rises. Reputation is earned by handing the faction's Bounty Agent the insignias and letters of favor that drop from fallen pirates.

Building Tips

Timber pieces form the skeleton of a structure. Set Large Pillar (Timber) uprights first, tie them together with Beam (Timber) and Large Beam (Timber) runs, then close off the perimeter with Fence (Logs). Because the most expensive piece in the set is only 6 bits, an entire timber frame is cheap to throw up, which makes this plan a strong early purchase before you move on to the costlier stone and mahogany sets.
