The Quick Shipping Box is a buildable station in Starsand Island that lets you sell items directly from your Hopeland property without traveling to a shop. Interact with the box to access your entire inventory and all home storage chests through a single interface, select items to sell, and receive payment instantly. The blueprint costs 3,500 Coins from Zerine's General Store and becomes available through the Crafter profession questline. While it sells items at standard shop prices (100% value, not the Merchant Ship's 200%), the time savings make it one of the most valuable convenience items in the game.
The investment pays for itself within 10 to 15 uses, saving approximately 2 to 3 minutes per trip that would otherwise be spent walking to Zerine's General Store.
The Quick Shipping Box blueprint is purchased from Zerine at the General Store for 3,500 Coins. It becomes available alongside the Request Board Blueprint as you progress through the Crafter profession questline. You need to have advanced past the Apprentice Crafter tier to access it.
The Shipping Box is crafted at a Worktable (Worktable I or higher).
Material | Quantity | How to Obtain |
|---|---|---|
Iron Sheets | 6 | Convert Iron Ingots at the Cutter II. Iron Ingots are smelted from Iron Ore (Moonlit Forest) at the Furnace. |
Radiant Crystals | 3 | Craft at Furnace I using 3 Fluorite (mined in the Moonlit Forest) + 1 Charcoal. |
Hardwood Planks | 6 | Process 4 Hardwood per plank at the Cutter II. Hardwood comes from large trees cut with the Impact Axe. |
Gears | 3 | Craft 1 Tin Ingot per Gear at the Gear Smith. Tin Ingots require 4 Tin Ore (Moonlit Forest). |
If you are starting from scratch, here is the total amount of raw materials you need to gather:
Raw Material | Total Needed | Source |
|---|---|---|
Iron Ore | 30 | Mine in Moonlit Forest |
Fluorite | 9 | Mine in Moonlit Forest |
Tin Ore | 15 | Mine in Moonlit Forest |
Hardwood | 24 | Cut large trees with Impact Axe |
Charcoal | 9 | Burn Wood at the Furnace |
Once placed on your property, interact with the Quick Shipping Box to open the selling interface. You can browse your entire inventory plus all connected home storage chests from a single screen. Select any items you want to sell, confirm the transaction, and the gold is credited to your account instantly.
Step | Details |
|---|---|
Same prices as shops | All shops (including the Shipping Box) pay the same base price for items. There is no penalty for using the Shipping Box instead of visiting a store in person. |
No daily limit | You can sell as many items as you want through the Shipping Box at any time. There is no cap on daily sales. |
Full inventory access | The interface shows your entire inventory and all home storage chests, so you do not need to move items around before selling. |
Quality affects price | Crop quality, fish size, and ore purity all affect the sell price. Higher quality items yield more Coins. |
The Merchant Ship at Starsand Port offers 200% of normal vendor value, making it the most profitable place to sell items. However, it requires completing the Starsand Port Construction main quest to unlock. Here is how the two compare:
Feature | Quick Shipping Box | |
|---|---|---|
Sell Price | 100% (standard) | 200% (double) |
Location | Your property | |
Unlock | Crafter profession quest | |
Operating Hours | 24/7 | 08:00 to 22:00 |
Inventory Access | Full (inventory + all chests) | Inventory only |
Weekly Buying Orders | No | Yes (items at additional markup) |
Best For | Convenience, bulk selling | Maximum profit on high-value items |
The optimal strategy is to use both. Sell common, low-value items through the Shipping Box for convenience, and save high-value items (rare fish, premium crops, processed goods) for the Merchant Ship to get 200% return.
The general rule is that processed goods sell for more than raw materials. Cooking vegetables before selling them outperforms selling raw crops. Some of the best items to sell include:
Category | Top Items | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Fish | Lionfish, Emperor Angelfish, Snakehead, Payara | Ocean and river fish with high base value |
Crops | Cucumber, Garlic, Water Spinach, Cabbage | Best when cooked before selling |
Processed Goods | Cooked dishes, fabrics, ingots | Always sell processed form over raw |
Ranching Products | Golden Poop, Sheep Cheese Block, premium eggs | Rare drops with high sell value |
Materials | Golden Canopy Bed | Highest-value single item for Merchant Ship (2,956 Coins) |
The Merchant Ship maintains rotating buying orders across four categories. Items sold through these orders receive an additional markup on top of the 200% base rate. The categories are:
Item | Details |
|---|---|
Crops | 10 item types, prices range from 14 to 86 Coins per unit. |
Seafood | 10 item types, prices range from 88 to 280 Coins per unit. |
Materials | 10 item types, prices range from 26 to 2,956 Coins per unit. |
4 item types, prices range from 8 to 88 Coins per unit. |
Check the Merchant Ship's buying orders at the start of each week (Monday) to see which items are in demand. Stockpile those items during the week and sell them all at once for maximum profit.
Place the Shipping Box near your storage chests or barn for easy access during morning routines.
Save high-value fish, rare crops, and premium products for the Merchant Ship rather than selling them through the Shipping Box.
Complete daily Bulletin Board commissions. These often pay more than standard shop prices for specific items.
Process items before selling whenever possible. A cooked dish made from three cheap vegetables is worth more than selling those three vegetables raw.
The Shipping Box is especially valuable on properties far from the town center, such as Cloudrest Lake or Windflute Island, where the walk to Zerine's store would be long.
