Structural cleanup: add 1 subheading, convert 1 list to tables
Bliss Bay Amusement Park is a community lot located on a pier extending over the water in Bliss Bay, on the eastern side of the city. Inspired by real-world piers like the Santa Monica Pier, the park features nine rides, carnival food stalls, arcade games, and playground attractions. It opens daily at 9:00 AM, with rides beginning operation at 10:00 AM, and closes at 8:00 PM. After dark, the park transforms into a fireworks display that illuminates the night sky, visible from across the city.
The park serves as both a recreation destination and a workplace. Zois of all ages can enjoy the rides, food, and carnival games, while those looking for employment can pursue the Amusement Park career, with positions ranging from Cashier to Office Team Lead. Because the park is exclusive to Bliss Bay, Zois must live in this city to work here. A ride operator must be present at the queue for rides to function, so some rides may be unavailable if no operator is on shift.
Players can also purchase amusement park rides through Build Mode and place them on their own lots. These purchasable rides appear in the "Other" tab of the furniture menu and allow Zois to enjoy carnival thrills without visiting the park.
The park features nine rides in total. Each ride costs 10 Meow. Tickets must be purchased at the ticket office before boarding each ride. Only one Zoi can ride at a time; if the ride is occupied, others must wait for the current rider to finish.

Ride | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Rollercoaster | Thrill Ride | Experienced in first-person view; may cause the Uncomfortable emotion afterward |
Pirate Ship | Thrill Ride | Swinging ship |
Ferris Wheel | Scenic Ride | Panoramic views of the pier and ocean; ideal for watching fireworks before closing |
Hot Air Balloon | Scenic Ride | Aerial ride over the park |
Blissdrop | Drop Tower | Vertical drop ride |
Merry-Go-Round | Family Ride | Classic carousel |
Flying Swing | Family Ride | Spinning swing chairs |
Bumper Cars | Kids Only | Restricted to children |
Little Train | Kids Only | Restricted to children |
Getting on a ride involves a few steps. The park gates open at 9:00 AM, but ride operators do not arrive at their stations until 10:00 AM. Once an operator is standing beside the queue line, players can hover over the queue entrance to highlight it and click to send their Zoi to ride. The Zoi will automatically walk to the ticket office first, pay the 10 Meow fee, and then proceed to the ride. If another Zoi is already on the ride, your Zoi will wait in the queue until the current rider finishes.
Not every ride will have a supervisor next to it at all times, but Zois can still queue and board rides even when the operator is not immediately visible. Rides that have no operator stationed nearby may simply be unavailable until one arrives.
Riding certain attractions may leave Zois feeling uncomfortable afterward, which can affect their mood and needs. The rollercoaster is particularly notable for triggering the Uncomfortable emotion after the ride ends. Since being uncomfortable can slow down skill development (such as Housework), players should be mindful of how often they send their Zois on thrill rides. To recover, Zois can eat food, use the bathroom, take a bath, or simply rest until the emotion fades.
The rollercoaster is also notable for its first-person cutscene that gives players a rider's-eye view of the track. The camera switches to the Zoi's perspective as the coaster climbs, drops, and turns, which can be disorienting but is one of the most immersive moments in the game.
Zois with the Autonomy value may develop the "Wants To Ride a Ride" urge, which reflects their desire for freedom and excitement. The in-game description reads: "This Zoi wants to enjoy a carnival ride!" Fulfilling this urge by riding any amusement park attraction (either at Bliss Bay or a ride placed on a home lot through Build Mode) rewards the Zoi with Meow coins and triggers the Excited emotional state.
Several food stalls operate throughout the park. The food vendors are the first to open their stations each day, arriving at 9:00 AM alongside the general park entrance. This means Zois who arrive early can grab a snack while waiting for the rides to start operating at 10:00 AM. The park also has vending machines scattered along the pier.
Item | Source | Price (Meow) |
|---|---|---|
Hot Dog | Food Stall | 5 |
Popcorn | Food Stall | 5 |
Cotton Candy | Food Stall | 5 |
Potato Chips | Snack Vending Machine | 2 |
Protein Shake | Glass-Door Drink Refrigerator | 4 |
No full restaurants currently operate inside the park. The food stalls and vending machines provide quick snacks to keep Zois' Hunger need from dropping too low during a day of rides and activities. The convenience store inside the park also stocks snacks and drinks, and its shelves are restocked by Cashier employees as part of their afternoon tasks.
Beyond the nine rides, the amusement park pier offers several additional activities and points of interest.
Attraction | Description |
|---|---|
Arcade Games | Several arcade cabinets are available for play along the pier |
See-Saw | Playground equipment suitable for children and families |
High Striker | A test-your-strength carnival game where Zois swing a mallet to ring the bell |
Photo Spots | Scenic overlooks along the pier railing for taking memorable screenshots of the ocean and skyline |

After the park closes at 8:00 PM, the pier hosts a nightly fireworks display. The fireworks launch over the ocean and can be watched from multiple vantage points around Bliss Bay. Viewing them from the Ferris Wheel before closing time creates a particularly romantic experience, making it a popular choice for dates and special occasions.
The display illuminates the skyline and is one of the signature nighttime attractions of Bliss Bay. Because the fireworks happen every night, they are a reliable way to end an evening at the park. Zois who stay near the pier after 8:00 PM will watch the show automatically. The fireworks are also visible from other locations across the city, including the beach and boardwalk area.
The amusement park is home to several career positions, all of which are active jobs. Active careers mean players accompany their Zoi to the workplace and complete timed tasks and mini-games throughout the shift. All amusement park positions share the same schedule: shifts run on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Only Young Adult, Adult, and Middle-Aged Zois are eligible for employment.

Position | Job Line | Daily Pay (Meow) | Max Slots |
|---|---|---|---|
Cashier | Convenience Store Employee | 310 | 2 |
Office Worker | Office Employee | 380 | 4 |
Field Worker | Field Worker | 760 | N/A |
Office Team Lead | Office Employee | 1,550 | N/A |
The career positions at the amusement park are split into separate job lines. The Cashier position belongs to the Convenience Store Employee line and has no promotion path; it is a standalone role. The Office Worker and Office Team Lead belong to the Office Employee line, with Office Worker serving as the entry-level position and Office Team Lead as the promoted role. The Field Worker is its own standalone job line with no promotions.
The Cashier works in the park's convenience store. Morning tasks include cleaning the store floor (5 times), watching the counter for 60 minutes, and changing into a uniform. Afternoon tasks involve restocking the brochure stand, the convenience store snack shelf, and the glass-door drink refrigerator. The uniform change task has a strict one-hour deadline; missing it counts as a failed objective.
The Office Worker handles the park's administrative tasks from a desk. Morning responsibilities include writing promotional copy on the computer (45 minutes), handling visitor complaints on the computer (45 minutes), and changing into a uniform. Afternoon tasks involve planning events and activities (45 minutes) and analyzing visitor data (45 minutes). Completing these tasks consistently leads to promotion to Office Team Lead.
The Field Worker operates out in the park itself. Morning tasks include inspecting a ride entrance, lifting visitors' spirits using a Money Gun or by dancing (5 times), cleaning amusement park tables (3 times), cleaning floors (3 times), and changing into a uniform. The afternoon task is inspecting another ride entrance. This is the most physically active position at the park.
The Office Team Lead is the highest-paid position at the park, earning 1,550 Meow per shift. It is the promoted rank within the Office Employee job line, reached by performing well as an Office Worker. The Team Lead oversees park operations from the office.
Tip | Details |
|---|---|
Change into your uniform first. | Every position requires changing into a uniform, and this task has only a one-hour deadline. If you play on faster game speeds, it is easy to miss this window. Interact with the Uniform Cabinet lockers immediately when the shift starts. |
Check the locker room. | Separate male and female locker rooms exist at the park. Pause the game before entering to verify you are sending your Zoi to the correct facility. Entering the wrong locker room wastes valuable time. |
Queue up tasks. | Stack multiple actions so your Zoi performs them consecutively. Monitor your Zoi between tasks, because they may autonomously wander off to ride a ride or chat with a coworker instead of completing their assigned work. |
All tasks are timed. | Each morning and afternoon task has a time window (typically 5 hours). Failing to complete tasks within their window slows promotion progress. |
The amusement park is located on the eastern pier of Bliss Bay. Players can reach it by opening the map (M key) and selecting the park as a destination, then choosing "Go Here" to have their Zoi travel there via the bus system, by car, or on foot. The park is adjacent to the beach areas and within walking distance of Sunset Bay. Because Bliss Bay is modeled after Santa Monica, the pier sits prominently on the coastline and is easy to spot on the city map.
Buy tickets from the ticket office before queuing for a ride. You cannot board without a ticket, and each ride costs 10 Meow.
Arrive at the park before 10:00 AM to grab food from the stalls while waiting for the rides to open. The food vendors start serving at 9:00 AM.
Visit during the evening to catch the fireworks show from the Ferris Wheel for a scenic and romantic experience.
Bring children to enjoy the Bumper Cars and Little Train, which are restricted to kids only. Adult Zois cannot use these two rides.
If a ride is occupied, wait nearby rather than leaving the queue. Only one Zoi can ride at a time, and the queue system works on a first-come, first-served basis.
Watch out for the Uncomfortable emotion after riding the rollercoaster. Eating food, sleeping, or using the bathroom can help your Zoi recover.
The Cashier position is the most accessible career entry point at the park, requiring no prior experience. It pays 310 Meow per shift.
If your Zoi has the Autonomy value and develops the "Wants To Ride a Ride" urge, fulfilling it at the park grants Meow coins and the Excited emotion.
Placing an amusement park ride on your own lot through Build Mode lets your Zoi satisfy ride urges without traveling to the park.
The park is a great location for social outings. Bring friends or a romantic partner for a memorable day of rides, food, and fireworks.
