Overview
The Witch's House is a residence within the Alfonso Estate of Hernand, featuring a garden adorned with flowers and a fountain. The legendary Witch of Hernand supposedly resides here, though she remains unseen by most. Food and a teapot are always set upon the table, suggesting someone maintains the home. This location is where players first encounter Elowen, the witch who operates the Abyss shop for unsealing and equipping Abyss Artifacts.
Location
The Witch's House is located in The Witchwoods, west of Hernand City. When tracking the quest marker, it leads to a hut surrounded by thorny vines. Players must climb up the scaffolding and enter through the window. Elowen's actual location is a few hundred meters north of the vine-covered hut, fairly close to an Abyss Nexus fast travel point.
Access Requirements
Players must progress to Chapter 5 and defeat the Kearush boss at Hernand Castle before the Witch's House becomes accessible. Once this prerequisite is met, the Black and White questline directs the player to visit the witch in the woods.
Elowen's Abyss Shop
After meeting Elowen, she opens an Abyss shop at this location. Players can bring sealed Abyss Artifacts found throughout the world and have them unsealed for use. The witch also provides lore about the nature of the Abyss and the artifacts scattered across Pywel.
Tips
The vine-covered hut you first see is not Elowen's actual house. Continue north from there to find her proper residence.
Make sure to visit Elowen whenever you collect new sealed Abyss Artifacts, as the unsealed versions provide powerful abilities.
An Abyss Nexus fast travel point is located nearby, making return visits quick and easy.
