Overview
The Scholastone Cloak is a cloth cloak in Crimson Desert that records 5 defense and Ice Resistance Lv.3, with Stamina Cost -10%.
Check the effects of individual cloaks rather than inferring resistance solely from the material. Scholastone lists Ice Lv.3; Skyblazer is a recorded cloth cloak with Fire Lv.5. Individual effects can help against relevant enemies, ice magic, and cold environmental hazards.
This cloak can be purchased from the Scholastone Contribution Shop for 19 Contribution Coins.

Elemental Resistance
Ice Resistance reduces damage from frost-based attacks, freezing status effects, and cold environmental hazards. This is valuable in snowy or mountainous regions, against ice-wielding enemies, and during encounters with bosses that use frost magic.
In Crimson Desert, cloak material is not a universal elemental-resistance rule. Older notes associated Cloth with Ice, Leather with Lightning and Plate with Fire Resistance, but the Skyblazer cloth item explicitly lists Fire Lv.5. The Scholastone Cloak specifically lists Ice Lv.3 and Stamina Cost -10%, so compare actual item effects.
How to Obtain
The guide locates Brenton in the Scholastone Institute library, on the right near the stairs, selling this cloak for 19 Contribution Points. Both sources agree on Defense 5, Ice Resistance Lv.3 and Stamina Cost -10%; cost reduction is not a regeneration rate. The guide names Kliff, while the raw item record also lists Oongka. Keep those wearer references distinct rather than treating the introductory exclusive-to-Kliff label as complete current-client proof. The record's constant-Defense refinement rows and the earlier no-upgrade-UI report remain explicitly separate.

Refinement
The older account reported no refinement gauge and no upgrade option at the Blacksmith. The captured record lists materials through +10 but keeps Defense 5 at every level. That recorded table is not proof that the current client offers an upgrade or that refining this cloak raises Defense; keep the older UI observation separate.
Comparison
The older comparison listed eleven Ice Resistance cloaks. That count and largest-group ranking are not a verified current complete roster; the examples below are retained as earlier acquired displays:

|---|---|---|---|
3 | Lv.3 | Civilian Disguise | |
3 | Lv.3 | None | |

Tips
