Reclamation (Chapter 7)

Quest Details

Overview

This quest shares its name with the Chapter 6 Reclamation quest but is a separate mission. The walls of Pailune have been breached. The Greymanes and the Blue Fangs pour through the gap, and Kliff leads the assault against the Jackal forces defending the city. This is a sustained combat encounter with no boss fight; the objective is to reduce the enemy force to zero.

Walkthrough

Seize Pailune

This is the sole objective. An enemy percentage bar appears on the left side of the screen, starting at 100%. Your task is to fight and defeat enemies until it reaches 0%. There are no special mechanics or phases. Just keep engaging the Jackals as they appear.

The Jackals fight with standard melee and ranged attacks. No minibosses or elite enemies appear during this segment. The percentage drops steadily as you clear groups of soldiers throughout the city streets. The encounter lasts several minutes of continuous fighting.

When the bar hits 0%, the quest completes and the remaining Jackals flee into the inner fortress.

Tips

• Focus on clusters of enemies to drop the percentage quickly. Isolated soldiers contribute the same amount, but groups let you use area attacks efficiently.

• Conserve some healing items. The next quest, Lonely Jackals, has a two-phase boss fight against Ludvig that is much harder than this battle.

• Your allied soldiers fight alongside you and will take out some enemies on their own, but the percentage drops faster if you personally engage.

Tips and Strategies

• Save your progress before starting this quest, especially if you are playing on a higher difficulty setting.

• Battlefield quests benefit from ranged weapon options. Consider equipping a bow or hand cannon for the opening phases of large-scale encounters.
