Overview
The Icewing Plate Cloak is an Epic-rarity cloak in Crimson Desert, the final piece of the Icewing Plate set belonging to Gwen Kraber. Its defining feature is Fire Resistance Lv 3, providing substantial protection against fire-based attacks and environmental hazards. The cloak has the lowest base defense of any piece in the set, but its fire resistance makes it invaluable against fire-element bosses and enemies. It arrives at refinement level 2.
A piece of armor belonging to Gwen Kraber, captain of the Wolf Trackers. She is Giath's loyal right hand, constantly seeking new prey for him. In some ways, she seems an unlikely fit among wolf trackers. Her true origins are unknown, but her skill is beyond doubt.
Stats
Stat | Base (+0) | At +2 | Max (+10) |
|---|---|---|---|
0 | 2 | 12 | |
Lv 3 | Lv 3 | Lv 3 |
The cloak's defense is the lowest in the set, starting at 0 and only reaching 12 at max refinement. This is typical for cloaks, which are designed primarily around their passive effects rather than raw protection. The Fire Resistance Lv 3 does not scale with refinement; it is active at all levels.
Abyss Gears
The Icewing Plate Cloak does not have separate Abyss Gear sockets listed in the database. Its Fire Resistance Lv 3 is treated as an innate stat of the cloak rather than a socketed gear. This means all three levels of fire resistance are baked into the item itself.
Refinement
The cloak can be refined from +0 to +10 at a blacksmith. The materials differ from other set pieces: instead of Iron Ore, the cloak uses Cloth Piece, Fleece, and Ivory.

How to Obtain
The Icewing Plate Cloak is the reward for completing all witch sanctum quests in the game. There are four witch sanctums that must be cleared (not counting the tutorial witch). Each sanctum has its own questline, and all four must be completed to unlock the final step.
One of the four required sanctums is the Sanctum of Soloulless, which is also where the Icewing Plate Boots are found. Clearing all four sanctums unlocks a new quest to visit the White Crow, the fifth and final witch. Travel to the White Crow's house and open the chest inside to receive the Icewing Plate Cloak.
Because this piece requires completing every witch sanctum questline, it is typically the last Icewing Plate piece that players acquire. The journey to earn it yields numerous other rewards along the way, including blueprints, boss weapons, Kuku recipes, and skill points.
Part of Set
The Icewing Plate Cloak is the back piece in the five-piece Icewing Plate set. The other pieces are:
Icewing Plate Helm (head)
Icewing Plate Armor (chest)
Icewing Plate Gloves (hands)
Icewing Plate Boots (feet)
