The Ashad Plate Boots are a piece of Footwear in Crimson Desert. Unlike most boots found during the early and mid-game, these plate boots are not equippable by Kliff. Instead, they belong to Anga, one of the other playable characters in the game. The boots can be picked up from a hidden spot near the Darkbringer sword location in the Pailune region.
Location
The Ashad Plate Boots are found in the same general area as the Darkbringer greatsword, which is located in the northern part of Pailune. To reach the boots, start from the Darkbringer waypoint and head downhill toward the river below. Follow the river until you spot a waterfall. The boots are hidden behind (or through) the waterfall, tucked away in a chest or pickup point that is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.
At the same location, you will also find a stash of Palmar Pills, making the detour worthwhile even if you already have boots equipped on your current character.
How to Reach the Ashad Plate Boots
Travel to the Darkbringer waypoint in the Pailune region.
From the waypoint, head downhill toward the river.
Follow the riverbank until you find a waterfall.
Go behind or through the waterfall to reach the hidden alcove.
Pick up the Ashad Plate Boots and the nearby Palmar Pills.
Character Restriction
The Ashad Plate Boots cannot be equipped by Kliff. They are designated as unequippable equipment when viewed from Kliff's inventory. The boots belong to Anga, so they will only become usable once Anga is available as a playable character in your party.
If you pick them up before unlocking Anga, the boots will remain in your inventory until you can equip them. It is still worth collecting them early, since returning to this area later may be inconvenient.
Tips
This location is easy to overlook. If you have already collected the Darkbringer and left the area, consider fast-traveling back to grab these boots.
The waterfall conceals the path to the boots. Walk directly into the waterfall to pass through it.
Do not forget to pick up the Palmar Pills at the same spot. Palmar Pills are valuable consumables that revive your character upon death.
Since the boots are character-specific, check the Equipment menu to confirm which character they belong to before discarding any duplicates.
