Itinerary
The chapter-to-location mapping creates a coherent globetrotting arc. Bond starts in Iceland as an outsider, trains at MI6's Malta facility, takes his first field assignment in London, pursues a rogue agent through Slovakia, investigates the conspiracy across Mauritania, returns to London for the high-society Kensington gala, takes the corporate fight to Webb Industries, surveils targets at a Vietnam spa, hunts the antagonist Isola in Antarctica, and finally defends MI6 itself in London.
