Overview
The pirate chest loot pool is a shared rotation used by a large set of Rare-tier weapons across every weapon class. When a compatible weapon rolls on one of these 13 chest types, it is drawn from this exact list at a 20% per-pull chance. Because every chest in the list uses the same rate, a player hunting any weapon from the pool can target whichever chest is closest or safest to farm.
Chests listed here appear primarily in Blackbeard Waters and the coastal Foothills biome, with one pair of Smugglers' Chests in Smugglers' Waters.

The pool comprises 13 chest spawns across 7 chest types. Each chest line below lists the chest type and its specific world location. Every entry shares a 20.0% roll chance per weapon.

Weapons Drawn From This Pool
The following Rare-tier weapons all roll from this exact 13-chest list. Because each chest uses the same 20% rate for every weapon in the pool, the effective per-chest chance for a specific weapon is a straight 20% and not a diminishing slot.
Farming Notes
Because the pool rolls each chest independently at 20%, the expected number of openings to see any specific weapon is 5. Players chasing a particular drop should pick the chest with the shortest clear time or lowest mob density, since per-chest rarity is identical. Camps with multiple chests of the same type, such as the cluster of Blackbeard Pirate Camp variants, stack rolls linearly. A single camp run can therefore produce multiple rolls from the same pool.
As a rough guide, at a flat 20% per chest there is about a 67% chance to see a given weapon within 5 chests and roughly an 89% chance within 10. Because the rolls are independent, a streak of bad luck does not raise the odds on later chests, so the fastest route is simply to open more chests rather than to fixate on one location.
The pool is separate from the 15% pirate and Old Skeleton chest rotation that drops lower-tier weapons (Musket, Pistol, Blunderbuss, Club, Halberd, Smasher). Those baselines appear in their own articles and use the same chest world-spawns at a reduced rate.
One chest in the list belongs to Thomas Richards, so clearing his Blackbeard Pirate Camp gives both a pool roll and the encounter itself; see the Bosses page for that fight.
