Overview

The Abandoned Buccaneer Warehouse is one of the three Buccaneer POIs featured in the Glorious Hunters quest. It sits in the Coastal Jungle biome and contains quest-critical evidence from Marcel Boucher's ill-fated hunting expedition.
How to Enter
The main entry is blocked by stacked crates. Hack through them with an Axe or any tool that deals chopping or slash damage. A Copper Axe clears the pile fastest, but a Stone Pickaxe, Copper Pickaxe, or Iron Pickaxe will also break it, just more slowly. Behind the blockade, the ground floor holds a Supply Cache that may contain a Fast Travel Bell. Drop the bell here once recovered so the site becomes a permanent Fast Travel anchor for the rest of the questline.
Rooftop Chest
Climb to the warehouse rooftop to loot the key Glorious Hunters chest. It contains the Damaged Flask and a page from Marcel Boucher's diary. Both are required to progress the quest.
Loot Table
Item | Where Found | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Rooftop chest | Required for Glorious Hunters | |
Marcel's Diary Page | Rooftop chest | Required for Glorious Hunters |
Supply Cache (ground floor) | Not guaranteed; may spawn |
Enemies
Expect Boar and other Coastal Jungle wildlife near the approach. The Warehouse itself is usually empty of human enemies once the area is cleared.
Position in the Glorious Hunters Trail
The Warehouse is one of three connected Buccaneers sites in the Glorious Hunters investigation, alongside the Abandoned Buccaneer Camp and the Destroyed Buccaneer Fort. All three sit within the Coastal Jungle, so a single sailing trip can chain them together. The quest reconstructs what happened to Marcel Boucher and his expedition, and the Warehouse provides the Damaged Flask plus a diary page that Henri Boucher needs to see the chain through.
Worth Bringing
A chopping tool. Without an Axe or pickaxe you cannot clear the crate wall, so do not sail out for this site empty-handed.
Spare Healing Herbs or a Minor Healing Potion or two for the boar patrols, which charge in groups and stagger lightly armored characters.
A ranged option. The boar-head practice target hints at the site's history as a firing range, and a Pistol or Musket lets you soften the patrols before they close the gap.

Environmental Detail
Several environmental details mark the approach and reward careful exploration:
A boar-head Practice Target stands outside the walls, confirming the site's prior use as a pirate firing range.
Aggressive Boars patrol the area; when their eyes glint red, they are about to charge, which is the visual tell to dodge early.
The piled crates blocking the main entry must be broken with an axe (a Copper Axe clears them quickly; a Stone Pickaxe also works but is slower).
One of the chests sits on wooden platforms that require a short parkour climb to reach.
A second chest is gated behind a push-button hidden under a staircase on the interior. Miss the button and you miss the chest.
Recommended Level
Community guidance places the warehouse at around level 3, with level 4 or higher making the combat clearance smoother. Treat this as advisory rather than a hard gate. Players who arrive earlier can still complete the point of interest, but will take heavier damage from the Boar patrols and the slash-resistant crate barricade will take longer to chop with low-tier tools.
Extended Loot
In addition to the quest items (Damaged Flask, Marcel Boucher's diary page, sometimes a Fast Travel Bell), the chests at the Warehouse can contain:
Quest Reward Context
The Abandoned Buccaneer Warehouse is one of two hand-in locations for the Glorious Hunters questline. Completing the entire chain (which also requires clearing the Destroyed Buccaneer Fort and defeating three pirate ships at sea) grants the Buccaneer's Friend musket (585 Pierce damage) and 200 Rogue Buccaneers reputation. The Warehouse loot is the quest-item step, not the final reward.
