Overview
Wide Seats are a furniture subcategory in Pokemon Pokopia distinct from regular Seats. Wide Seats are multi-person benches and sofas that seat two or more characters. They are used in different habitats than regular seats, so having both types is important for habitat completion.

Wide Seats vs Regular Seats
Some items like Box Sofa, Wooden Bench, Stone Bench, and Plain Sofa count as both Seats and Wide Seats. This means they can satisfy either requirement in habitat building. The Chic Sofa and Resort Sofa found at Bleak Beach are also dual-purpose. When building habitats, check whether the requirement says 'Seat' or 'Wide Seat' to use the correct category.
Tips
The Box Sofa and Wooden Bench are the earliest craftable Wide Seats. Craft two or three early to unlock habitats like Bench with Greenery (which attracts Bulbasaur and Ivysaur). The Dinner Table Surprise habitat needs two Wide Seats, so plan accordingly. Visit the S.S. Anne in Bleak Beach to find the Chic Sofa for free. Stone Bench and Garden Bench are available from the PC Shop as alternatives to crafting.
