Settled the title of Eagle route Chapter 3 as The Rose of Caelus in the chapter table and notes
Leda, also known as Leilidahna, is one of the four Heroes of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and the lead of the Eagle route. Nintendo introduces her as a young woman born into prestige and blessed with musical talent, consumed by rage following her father's murder at the hands of an unknown assailant. Having given everything to seek revenge, she learns of the killer's plan to enter the Heroic Games and heads to Dagsion with supportive companions in tow.
She is a vihuela player carrying the title Rose of Caelus, and she can summon Demonic Beasts with her songs. Her route runs five years before the collapse that opens the game, and Eshmel can travel back into it; see Routes.

Leda grows up in comfort and is trained as a musician. Her father holds office in Dagsion before being appointed to govern Cydonia in Arago, and the family moves there. Five years before the Games, Cydonia is ravaged and her father is killed. She escapes the burning city with Buccar, the veteran who had served her father for years, carrying almost nothing with her, and takes refuge elsewhere in Arago for a few years.
What brings her out of hiding is the discovery that the killer is still alive and intends to compete in the tournament. Her reaction in the game's own footage is two lines long: "He's... alive! I will kill him." Her stated position elsewhere is colder: "There's a man I hate so much that simply killing him will not satisfy me. For that reason, I refuse to die."
Preview material and in-game dialogue point to Bertrand, the White-Maned Demon and the arena's living legend, as the man she is hunting; the presentation itself never names her father's killer, so the connection is reported rather than confirmed. A second name, Lechner, appears as a further target. Leda is also described as working from a list of names left to her by her late mentor, Mahdel, which makes her revenge a campaign rather than a single killing.
Because her father's death happens five years before the Games, and a preview scene shows it being played, the game's time travel does not appear to be limited to the single five-year jump the Direct describes. That reading comes from preview coverage rather than from published material.
Leda carries the title Rose of Caelus, which she took from Olympia while the two lived at Kalla Temple in Caelus. Preview material describes Olympia challenging her to rematch after rematch and losing every one, and taking a second title, the Azure Rose of Caelus, only once Leda had left the city. Caelus is described as holding an annual Festival of Roses whose winner is crowned Rose of Caelus, though the provenance of that detail is unclear and it should be treated as unconfirmed.

The festival itself is now confirmed. Kalla, the goddess who presides over hunting and the arts, presided over the Rose Festival that Leda and Olympia both competed in, which settles both that the event is real and that the temple the two were living at is hers. What is still unconfirmed is the annual schedule and whether the title always passes to the winner. The event has been rendered both as the Rose Festival and as the Festival of Roses.
Every group entering the Games registers under a clan name. Leda's is Rose Tempest.

Singer and priestess of Kalla's Temple; the rival who lost the Rose of Caelus title to Leda and wants it back |
Olympia is both an obstacle and a recruit on this route: preview material has her as the boss of Part 1 Chapter 3 and joining in Chapter 4. See Factions for the other clans in the tournament.
Leda fights at both ranges and supports from the middle. Preview accounts describe her using a sword up close, a bow at distance, and the vihuela to buff her allies. Class listings give her starting class as Commoner, the shared start that can wield every weapon type, while one places her in the returning Hunter class, which gains swords alongside bows in this entry.
Her Blaze Art is Song of Passion. The Direct covers it as "Leda plays her Vihuela to buff allies, summon a powerful monster, and more", and hands-on accounts split that into two effects: raising the attack of the allies around her, or summoning a Demonic Beast to fight for her. That makes her the only Hero whose Blaze Art can add a unit to the field rather than only affecting the ones already on it.
In the retail game she learns Song of Passion on her first turn of the route's opening battle, and walkthroughs describe it as raising Strength and Magic in the area around her. An upgraded Song of Passion+ is the reward for the Popular Drink Recipes quest, and Song of Passion++ for a Part III performance quest.
Five of her Blaze Arts are now named.
Blaze Art | What is known |
|---|---|
Song of Beasts | No effect documented on this wiki as of September 2026 |
Song of Madness | No effect documented on this wiki as of September 2026 |
Song of Passion | Learned on her first turn in Part 1 Chapter 1. The art the Direct covers: it raises the attack of the allies around her, or summons a Demonic Beast to fight for her |
Song of Icewater | Reward from the Perform Quest Dance at the Tavern in the fourth chapter; upgraded forms come from later drink-recipe and Part III performance quests |
Song of Abjuring | No effect documented on this wiki as of September 2026 |
She does not begin with the set. Her Blaze Arts are obtained by completing quests, and Song of Icewater is the one shown being awarded that way. Each lead's arts are designed around their playstyle, and hers skew towards support where Theodora's include a heavy standalone attack. As of September 2026, no effect has been documented on this wiki for the three that carry a name and nothing else.
Her instrument is a named object. Obsidian is a family heirloom passed down many generations, and it was all she escaped Cydonia with. Preview material describes it as cursed, which fits the wider framing of Blaze Arts as powers drawn from cursed artefacts, and combat forecasts show her carrying a Crest that the game gives a second Dagdan name. As of September 2026, no Crest effect data has been published for this game, so nothing is written here about what it does.
Obsidian is Leda's Drake's Treasure, the cursed object her Blaze Arts are attached to. Each of the four Heroes holds one, and in every case it is the object rather than the character that the arts belong to; Drake's Treasures collects the four and covers how they feed the Blaze gauge.
As with the other Heroes, Blaze Arts are paid for in health rather than from a resource bar. Using them fills a gauge that grants a stat boost as it rises, and filling it entirely triggers a burst that halves the unit's HP for the rest of the battle. Preview accounts note a state called Overblaze observed on Leda when the gauge maxes out. Retail walkthroughs confirm that performing teaches her further Blaze Arts: the tavern keeper in Dagsion hands out Perform Quests, and several of them award new or upgraded songs.
Leda's unique command is performance. On the world map she stages Performances that pay out gold and items, build a repertoire of dances that buff in battle, and can surface information about secret spots that are otherwise unreachable. Her battle chatter follows the same register: "My heart dances" when a command lands, "Beautiful!" when an ally finishes an enemy.

Before launch, three of her chapter titles had been published: Part 1 Chapter 1, "The Vengeful Dancer"; Chapter 2, "Battle at Coris Mine"; and Chapter 3, "The Rose of Caelus". Bertrand recurs as a boss in both this route and Dietrich's, and preview material places Cai as a boss here and Leda as a boss in his. In the game's opening she appears among the risen dead fought as tutorial bosses, in a different class from her playable one.
Showcase footage of her path lines up with that roster. In the battle against the Sisters of Bragança, who summon risen dead, she fields Sirocco, Mu, Catania as an Ornius Rider, Buccar, Olympia and Jasmine, an axe user read as the leader of the Palma Fighters, while Cai brings Tialla and Talimun brings Ursula. A second clip has her with Buccar, Mu, Sirocco, Olympia and Sofia, teaming with Anatolia and Orchel against the Palma Fighters, which puts Jasmine on both sides of that matchup at different points. Which path each clip belongs to is read off who else is on the field rather than stated on screen.
The route is entered through the Eagle Obelisk. Leda's quest tab is Perform Quests, taken at the tavern in Dagsion: each sends her to a town to perform for Renown, gold and items, and some open new locations on the world map. Her route also has a Drink Vendor. She has no ship in Part I, and Farming and Battalions belong to other Heroes. Buccar, Sirocco, Olympia and Mu join automatically, Catania is the guaranteed recruit of the Eagle route's recruitment tutorial, and in the fifth chapter's class tutorial Leda is automatically moved into the Hunter class. Two subquests, Monster in the Night and Great Dancer's Successor, appear only on her route.
Chapter | Title | Main battle |
|---|---|---|
1 | The Vengeful Dancer | Against Bjor |
2 | Battle at Coris Mine | Against Balboa |
3 | The Rose of Caelus | Against Olympia; the goal is to hold more blue flames than red after ten turns |
4 | The Indelible Past | Against Lechner |
5 | Women at Battle | Qualifier against Jasmine |
6 | The Soaring Maiden | Qualifier against Alexandra |
7 | Rose of Retribution | Taking the Carriage, against Lechner |
8 | Shape of the Conspiracy | Qualifier against Inyoni |
9 | Discordance | Not yet documented |
The third chapter is titled The Rose of Caelus, as in pre-launch material and in walkthroughs of the finished game; one walkthrough prints it as Road to Caelus, which looks like an error. Titles for chapters 10 to 12 have not yet been documented here. Four of the nine paralogues can be played on the Eagle route: Anatolia's, Cai's, Dietrich's and Orchel's. Leda's own, Diversionary Tactics, is given by her in Temple Row between 9/2 and 9/8 on Dietrich's and Theodora's routes. Completing her path carries the Drink Vendor and Performances into Part III, and in the last battle of Part II, Flight from Dagsion, the goal is to get Leda to the exit.
Leda's listed likes are memories of her parents, performing the songs of her hometown, gemstones and applause. Leda is an alias; Leilidahna is the full first name, and Olympia, who is younger, addresses her by it.
Her father is named Guillermo in roster listings, and the place she took refuge in after Cydonia burned is named as Ortill. Her vihuela is listed as having belonged to a Cohen before it came down the family line.
Route listings give her Part I subtitle as "Leda, Siren of the Six-String", and the advance soundtrack release includes a track titled "Storm of Petals" attached to her; see Soundtrack. The name is pronounced with a long first syllable. Japanese renders it レダ, with レイリダーナ for Leilidahna, Korean 레다 and Traditional Chinese 蕾達.
For the rival she took the Rose of Caelus from, who is fought as a boss on the Eagle route before joining it, see Olympia. For the man her revenge points at, see Bertrand, and for the HP price behind Song of Passion, see Blaze Arts.
