Ten tracks from Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave were released ahead of the game itself, as a Special Release on Nintendo Music on August 4, 2026. The release was announced during the game's dedicated presentation and went live the same day. It runs 30:13 across ten tracks and includes the game's main theme. Nintendo Music requires an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Runtimes are the ones published with the release. Japanese titles are given alongside the English ones because several of them are noticeably different rather than direct translations.

Hero Themes
Four of the ten are reported as tied to individual Heroes: True to His Colors with Cai, Shadow from Elsewhere with Dietrich, Queen's Gambit with Theodora and Storm of Petals with Leda. The pairings fit the Japanese titles well enough, but Nintendo has not stated them, so treat the association as unconfirmed. The developers have since confirmed that each Hero was given a musical theme phrase of their own (see below), though not which released track carries it. The remaining six are not tied to anyone in particular in the listings that circulate.
The Opening Vocal Theme
Sothis sings the game's opening vocal theme. It is performed during the August presentation, immediately before the 1454 sequence begins: a short verse about seeing the glow of flames ever burning bright in time's flow, and broken memories alight on a swift river's drift. Sothis follows the song by saying that it has finally reached the listener's ears, which is the moment the protagonist is called down. See Story and Plot Structure.
Instrumentation
One account of the finished score singles out plucked vihuela strings, which ties the music back to Leda and to Obsidian, the cursed vihuela she carries. Beyond the developers' own description of the main theme below, it is the only instrument named in any account this wiki has checked. As of September 2026, no official presentation, press release or storefront listing breaks the soundtrack down piece by piece or names an arranger.
What the Developers Have Said
The third chapter of the Ask the Developer interview, published on September 15, 2026, covers the music. The developers described the main theme as drawing on flamenco, which can express a wide range of emotions from joy to sorrow, and as leaning heavily on handclaps and percussion to convey the raw vitality of ancient people. One report of the interview identifies the music at the start of the long Japanese television commercial as the main theme.
Each of the four Heroes was given a theme phrase of their own, which gives that Hero's pieces a consistent feel, and in scenes where all of them come together the individual themes are woven into one another. The score is built to converge in the same way the four stories do.
Production Credit
T's Music, a Japanese game sound production company, lists the game among its credits for part of the background music production and part of the instrument recording. That is a production credit, not a composer credit.
What Is Not Known
As of September 2026, no composer has been credited in any official presentation, press release or storefront listing, so this page names none. The full in-game soundtrack has not been detailed on any of those surfaces, and no complete album, further Nintendo Music release or separate physical music release had appeared by September 23, 2026. The art book bundled with the collector's set is the only physical product tied to the game's presentation that has been confirmed; the merchandise wave announced on September 11, 2026 contains no music release. Nintendo said the Special Release includes the main theme but did not say which of the ten tracks it is, and the vocal theme has not been given a title of its own.
