The Flame Knight's Plate Helm is found at the Stone Well Farm in the Demeniss region. The farm is located near the other Scorchflame Plate armor pieces, making it easy to collect several pieces in a single trip.
There are two ways to obtain this helm:
Travel to the Stone Well Farm in the Demeniss region.
Look for a small tower in the middle of the farm.
Climb the ladder on the nearby building to reach the rooftop.
Jump across from the building to the tower.
The helmet is inside a chest on the top floor of the tower.
Warning: Be careful when looting the chest. There is a large hole in the middle of the tower floor, and it is very easy to fall through while approaching the chest.
The helm can also be crafted at a Blacksmith using the following materials:
Iron Ore x3
Copper Ore x1
The crafting recipe is unlocked by examining the Plate Armors of the World Vol. 3 crafting manual. Without this manual, the helm will not appear in the blacksmith's crafting menu.
The Flame Knight's Plate Helm is one of several pieces in the Scorchflame Plate armor set. All armor pieces can be collected at any time without needing to fight any bosses, though the weapons (Drake Shield and Spada Sword) require defeating the Flame Knight boss.

Roar Nullification is a niche but powerful effect for specific boss fights where roar attacks are frequent.
The crafting cost is the same as other Vol. 3 plate helms (3 Iron Ore, 1 Copper Ore), so the choice between this and alternatives comes down to which special effect is most useful.
Keep this helm in your inventory even if you use a higher-DEF helm normally; swap it in for encounters where roar attacks are a problem.
The Stone Well Farm is also a useful location for collecting other items and resources in the Demeniss region.
