How to Find
During the Traces in the Manor quest in Chapter 3, Kliff pursues a trail from Glenbright Manor through a series of destroyed areas after speaking with a wounded servant. Following the tracking trail with the lantern leads through encounters with Reed Devils and eventually to a clearing in a reed field. The doll rests on a stone altar beneath a large charred tree draped with colored ribbons.
Interacting with the doll triggers a cutscene, after which the reed field becomes a checkpoint. This means players can leave to upgrade gear, craft recovery items, or restock supplies before returning to the fight without replaying the lead-up segment.
Boss Fight
Once the doll interaction is complete, the Devil of the Reed Field boss fight begins. This is a two-phase encounter. In the first phase, the boss attacks with sweeping melee combos and ranged projectiles. The second phase introduces totems that must be destroyed while avoiding the boss's escalating attacks. Effective tactics include animation canceling, using martial arts combinations, and prioritizing totem destruction during phase transitions.
Tips
