Overview
The A.T.A.G. Emergency Power Device is a consumable utility module for the A.T.A.G. Mech in Crimson Desert. Each use reduces the mech's summon cooldown by 10 minutes, making the A.T.A.G. more reliably available for combat and liberation missions. Players can carry multiple devices to ensure their mech is ready when needed.
The A.T.A.G. has a significant cooldown after each use, limiting how frequently it can be summoned. The Emergency Power Device is the primary way to mitigate this restriction. Having several in your inventory is recommended for players who rely on the mech for clearing enemy camps and liberating locations.

How to Obtain
The Emergency Power Device is obtained through a Grey Mane dispatch mission. Before the dispatch becomes available, you must unlock it through the Delesyia researcher's upgrade path.
Unlock Requirements
The Delesyia researcher provides the High Mobility Power Device research line, which includes the Emergency Power Device as one of its unlocks. To access this researcher:
Progress to the end of Chapter 11 of the main story.
Liberate Delesyia Castle, which allows the researcher to work with you.
Complete the initial research task the Delesyia researcher assigns.
Progress through the research tiers (requires time and Silver investment).
Once the High Mobility Power Device research is complete, the Emergency Power Device becomes available as a craftable dispatch at the Delesyia Grey Mane facility. Queue this dispatch regularly to maintain a stock of devices.
Usage Tips
Each device reduces cooldown by 10 minutes, not a full reset. You may need multiple devices to fully reset the cooldown.
Keep a stockpile of 3-5 devices to ensure the mech is always available for tough encounters.
Queue the crafting dispatch whenever possible so you always have devices on hand.
The A.T.A.G. cannot be summoned in towns regardless of cooldown status.
Upgraded Alternative: A.T.A.G. Power Module
For players who want a more powerful cooldown solution, the A.T.A.G. Power Module is an upgraded version that completely resets the ATAG cooldown instead of reducing it by 10 minutes. The Power Module recipe is a random drop from ruins dispatch missions (such as the Time Worn Ruins), and once obtained, it must be crafted at a Witch.
While the Emergency Power Device is more reliable to obtain and stockpile, the Power Module is strictly superior in effect. Ideally, carry both: use Emergency Power Devices for minor cooldown adjustments and save Power Modules for when you need the mech immediately.
