Stout Frame is a talent in the Toughguy branch of the Windrose Talent System. It grants a flat additive bonus to maximum health. The bonus does not scale off Vitality; it is an independent flat value added on top of whatever health Vitality already provides.

Community Meta
Considered close to mandatory for every melee build. The +240 Max HP at rank 3 is a bigger absolute jump than spending 18 Vitality (at about 13 HP per point, roughly 234 HP) for only 3 talent points, and it stacks on top of the Pikeman 2-piece bonus.

Build Role
Stout Frame is the max-HP backbone. Paired with Marathon Runner, it is the most common opening 6 talent points on any build aiming for Toughguy survival, giving both a deep health pool and a deep stamina pool before the build specializes further.
Math Example
A Vitality-13 character with base HP approximately 300 gains +240 Max HP at rank 3 Stout Frame, reaching 540 Max HP for only 3 talent points. Comparable Vitality investment to reach +240 HP would require approximately 18 Vitality points (at 13 HP per point), a far worse efficiency per point.
Notes
Flat additive, does not scale with Vitality. It complements Vitality rather than replacing it, so most tanks still invest in both.
Stacks with the Pikeman Set 2-piece bonus (+160 Max HP) for +400 total Max HP from set bonus plus talent at rank 3.
