Plague Berserker is a plague creature in Windrose. It is an elite member of the Senkamati Giant family, the largest and toughest plague bodies in the Cursed Swamps, with 5,520 HP making it one of the highest-health non-boss enemies in the launch build.
Plague enemies populate the Cursed Swamps biome and apply plague damage-over-time effects on hit. Most plague enemies drop Quagmire Powder, a bottleneck ingredient for Mire Metal Ingot crafting. The Berserker is the exception that pays out elsewhere: its confirmed loot is built around Tear of Sorrow rather than Quagmire Powder, which makes it the swamp's premier reagent farm rather than a smelting-material source.
Like every fight in this biome, a Berserker duel happens under the Wood Plague, the constant ambient health drain that defines the Cursed Swamps. With this much HP to chew through, expect a long fight and keep healing on hand for the background damage as well as the Berserker's own hits.

Where to Find
Plague Berserkers belong to the Cursed Swamps and sit in the biome's upper difficulty band, so they appear deeper in the swamp rather than at its edges. Exact spawn points are not yet confirmed for this creature, and the procedural world means there are no fixed coordinates. Loot table data is confirmed from the current build, and the creature respawns after a zone reset.

Tactical Notes
The 325 Crude AoE (non-targeted) punishes melee lockdown. Use spacing, dodge the telegraph, punish the recovery.
Base combo attacks deal 270 Crude each at 0 armor penetration. Stagger Defence 5 means most single hits will not break poise; bring Truffle (Blunt damage from the Boar Whistle) or a high-poise-damage weapon.
5 to 7 Tear of Sorrow per kill makes Plague Berserkers the top farming target for bulk Tear of Sorrow (the advanced alchemy reagent).
With 5,520 HP and only 30 Armor, raw sustained damage matters more than armor penetration; a high-DPS weapon you can land safely between AoE telegraphs will out-perform a slow heavy hitter you cannot connect with.
Notes
Shares the Senkamati Giant family template with Plague Crusher and the Chick Chan quest boss. All three use similar attack animations and loot tables.
