What the Drops Are Used For
Rough Hide is the backbone of the early leather line. Process it at a Tanning Rack toward Tanned Leather for mid-tier armor.
Meat feeds Cooking Fire dishes, including the Strength-boosting Meaty Croc Kebab.
Animal Fat refills the Oil Lamp and is used in several base recipes.
Boar Tusk and Boar Head are the rare trophy drops; the head is the centerpiece of the Trophy Boar wall mount.
If you want to farm boars deliberately rather than wait for natural spawns, the Boar Whistle and the Mighty Boar Whistle summon them on demand.

Crude weapons (hammer, club, halberd) and Pierce weapons (rapier, musket, pistol, spear) both work effectively. Slash is the worst choice due to the Armor 15 and the lack of Slash weakness.
