How to Obtain
Red Sheep are obtained exclusively through the breeding system. Start by purchasing one Snowool and one Ebowool from Pastelle at the Intermediate Rancher tier (650 Coins each). Place one male and one female in the Selective Breeding House and breed them repeatedly. Colored sheep outcomes are heavily RNG-dependent; there is no confirmed formula guaranteeing a Red Sheep from specific parent colors.
Community reports indicate that some players obtain Red Sheep within a few breeding cycles, while others need more than an in-game year of attempts. The base Snowool-Ebowool pair, as well as pairs including Duswool and Fluffwool, all seem capable of producing colored offspring at similar rates.
Products and Wool Crafting
Red Sheep produce Red Wool when sheared with an Electric Shearer. Like all sheep, they also occasionally drop Sheep Milk, Sheep Saliva, and Poop. Red Wool is one of seven colored wools used in textile crafting. It can be processed at the Spinning Wheel and Loom to produce red fabric, which is then sewn into red-colored clothing and furniture at the Sewing Table. Colored wool cannot be dyed directly; the only way to get Red Wool is from a Red Sheep.
Tips
Red Wool is one of seven colors required for the Intermediate Rancher quest that asks you to deliver one of each colored wool to Pastelle.
Set up multiple Sheep Barns with different breeding pairs to increase your daily chances of producing a Red Sheep.
Once you have a Red Sheep, breed it with another Red Sheep for a roughly 60% chance of producing more Red offspring.
Colored wool sells for slightly more than white wool, and premium colored wool from high-happiness sheep sells for even more.
Keep sheep happiness above 150 points through regular feeding, brushing, and barn cleanliness for the best product quality.
