Overview
Ducks are the third livestock species unlocked in Starsand Island, available alongside Chickens at the Junior Rancher tier. They are purchased from Pastelle at Green Pasture Ranch for 300 Coins each, or occasionally found in the wild. Ducks are housed in Duck Coops and produce Eggs and Feathers daily. Their special ability is Snail Control: each duck eats up to 5 snails per day from nearby crops, making them especially useful when farming rice in paddy fields.

Ducks automatically eat snails that appear on nearby crops, especially rice growing in paddy fields. Position Duck Coops near your paddy fields to keep snail populations in check. The Glazed Duck variant clears 15 snails per day, three times the standard rate. If you grow Rice, Water Caltrop, or other paddy crops, ducks are essential for maintaining healthy yields.
