Overview
Queen Bee is the queen of the bee colony in Starsand Island. Unlike other ranch animals, the Queen Bee does not have variant subspecies and cannot be bred in the traditional sense. Instead, her purpose is to produce Bumblebee workers when placed in a Beehive and fed Royal Jelly. Those Bumblebees then collect Honey and pollinate crops on your farm.

How to Obtain
Method 1: Giant Beehives. Queen Bees can be found in Giant (Large) Beehives attached to White Fig Trees and Banyan Trees. The best locations are the forest west of Cloudrest Lake in the northern part of the island and Windflute Island in the south. Approach the tree, interact with the beehive, and collect the Queen Bee.
Method 2: Purchase. You can also buy a Queen Bee from Pastelle at the Green Pasture Ranch for 400 coins.
Royal Jelly
To keep a Queen Bee producing workers, you need to feed her Royal Jelly. Royal Jelly is crafted by placing one Egg and five Honeycombs into a Feeder machine. Each day, the Queen Bee consumes a portion of the Royal Jelly and produces a new Bumblebee in return.
Bumblebee Production
When a Queen Bee is placed in a Beehive and fed Royal Jelly, she periodically produces Bumblebee workers. These workers provide two valuable farm functions:
Honey Collection: Bumblebees automatically collect Honey from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Honey is a natural sweet substance made from plant nectar, used as a valuable cooking ingredient.
Crop Pollination: Bumblebees pollinate nearby crops, acting as a natural fertilizer that boosts growth speed for fields within range.
Beekeeping Setup
To start beekeeping, you need Honeycombs to build your first Beehive. Honeycombs are found by searching for beehives in the wild, primarily on White Fig and Banyan trees. Once you have a Beehive built, place a Queen Bee inside and keep her fed with Royal Jelly to maintain a steady supply of worker bees.
Tips
Wild Bumblebees can also be caught with a Net near flowers around Zephyria's house in the northwest. Approach slowly since they flee when startled.
There are no subspecies or breeding variants of bees. The Queen Bee is the only bee-related animal you manage directly.
Keep a steady supply of Eggs and Honeycombs to craft Royal Jelly. Without Royal Jelly, the Queen Bee stops producing workers.
Position your Beehives near crop fields to maximize the pollination bonus from worker bees.
