Ebowool is one of two Common Sheep variants in Starsand Island, alongside Snowool. Classified under ID Sheep03, Ebowool is the black sheep variant that produces Black Wool when sheared. Both Ebowool and Snowool are the only sheep that can be purchased directly from Pastelle at Green Pasture Ranch. They serve as the foundation for all colored sheep breeding programs.

Happy sheep with at least 150 Happiness Points have a chance of producing premium-quality Wool. Regular brushing, timely feeding, and a clean barn all contribute to happiness. Premium Black Wool sells for more than standard quality.
Role in Breeding
Ebowool is one of the two essential starting sheep for any colored sheep breeding program. The recommended approach is to purchase one Ebowool and one Snowool (one of each gender) and pair them at the Selective Breeding House. Breeding an Ebowool with a Snowool can produce Duswool, Fluffwool, or Blue Sheep as offspring. From there, continued breeding can yield any of the seven colored sheep variants (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Purple) and the Super Rare Cloud Sheep.
Wool Processing
Black Wool harvested from Ebowool can be processed through the textile crafting pipeline. Spin it at the Spinning Wheel into thread, weave it at the Loom into black fabric, and sew finished items at the Sewing Table. Black is one of seven wool colors used in textile crafting. Colored wool cannot be dyed; the only way to get a specific color is to breed the matching colored sheep.
Tips
Buy at least one Ebowool and one Snowool early at the Intermediate Rancher tier to start your breeding program as soon as possible.
Keep Ebowool well-fed and brushed regularly to maximize Happiness and improve your chances of premium Wool and rare product drops.

All sheep variants, including Ebowool, are rideable. While slower than horses or ostriches, they work as an early-game mount option.
