Hornox is a rare cow variant in Starsand Island, recognized by its large, majestic horns. Unlike the common cow, Hornox is bred exclusively through the breeding system and cannot be purchased directly from Pastelle at the Green Pasture Ranch. Its imposing silhouette and distinctive horn structure make it one of the more visually striking cattle variants on the island.

Appearance
Hornox stands out from common cattle thanks to its oversized, sweeping horns that curve upward and outward. The body build is stocky and muscular, similar to the standard cow, but the horn rack gives it a far more imposing profile. Its coat color tends toward earthy browns and tans, keeping a rugged, natural look.
How to Obtain
Hornox can only be obtained through breeding. Place two adult common Cows (one male and one female) in the same Cattle Barn with at least one empty slot. Provided they are well-fed, clean, and happy, there is a chance the overnight breeding will produce a Hornox instead of another common calf. For more targeted results, use the Selective Breeding House to isolate a specific pair and increase your chances of producing rare offspring.

Hornox and Fluffhorn share the same parent requirement. Which rare variant hatches is determined randomly by the game's genetics system. If you are trying to collect both, keep breeding common cow pairs and you will eventually get each one.
Products
Like all cow variants, Hornox produces the standard set of animal products. However, note that rare cow variants like Hornox do not produce milk as reliably as the common cow. If you need a steady milk supply, keep at least one common cow in your barn alongside your rare variants.

Tips
Hornox cannot be ridden. If you want a rideable cow, aim for the Super Rare Pyrox variant instead.
