Overview
Dango Rabbit is a Rare Rabbit variant in Starsand Island. Named for its round, dango-like shape, this plump rabbit looks distinctly different from the slender common Rabbit. What makes the Dango Rabbit unique among Rare animals is that it can be obtained without breeding: it is available as an Islandpedia stamp reward, making it accessible earlier than most Rare variants.

Appearance
The Dango Rabbit has a noticeably round, ball-shaped body that resembles a Japanese dango (a sweet rice dumpling). It is much rounder and more compact than the common Rabbit, with stubby proportions that give it an almost spherical silhouette. Both the young and adult forms maintain this round shape, though the adult is larger.
Weeding
The Dango Rabbit removes up to 5 weeds per day from nearby farmland, identical to the common Rabbit and the Lop-Eared Rabbit. Place the Rabbit Hutch close to your crop fields for automatic weed control. The Super Rare Luna Rabbit clears 15 weeds per day for players who need higher throughput.
How to Obtain
Method 1: Islandpedia Stamp Reward. The Dango Rabbit is awarded as a reward from the Islandpedia stamp collection system. Open the Islandpedia (press Tab or the phone button), fill in entries across various categories, and claim stamps as you reach milestones. The Dango Rabbit is available at an early stamp tier, making it one of the first Rare animals most players will acquire.
Method 2: Breeding. You can also obtain the Dango Rabbit through breeding at the Breeding House or Selective Breeding House. Pair two rabbits of the same species and wait for offspring. As a Rare variant, it has a moderate breeding probability.
Tips
The Islandpedia stamp method lets you skip breeding entirely. Focus on cataloguing items in your Islandpedia early to unlock this reward.
Once you have a Dango Rabbit from the stamp reward, you can breed it with another rabbit to try for the Super Rare Luna Rabbit.
Products (Wool, Poop, Rabbit Poop) are identical across all rabbit variants, so the choice between Dango Rabbit and other Rare rabbits is purely cosmetic.
