The Pokemon Center is a key facility in Pokemon Pokopia that provides PP restoration, a shop for purchasing recipes and items, and various utility services. Unlike traditional Pokemon games where Centers heal battle damage, in Pokopia the Center restores your PP gauge (the energy used for Ditto's moves). The Center must be rebuilt as part of story progression and becomes available in each region once you reach a certain Environment Level.
Pokemon Centers are not available from the start. Each one must be rebuilt through the construction system. The rebuild process has several requirements:

Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
The area must reach Environment Level 3 before the Pokemon Center rebuild option appears | |
1,000 Life Coins for the Pokemon Center Rebuilding Kit from the PC Shop | |
Materials | |
Pokemon | At least 8 Pokemon must be living in the area |
Build Time | One real-world day to complete construction after placing the kit |
The Pokemon Center Rebuilding Kit costs 1,000 Life Coins from the PC Shop. This is one of the more expensive purchases in the early game, but it is a priority buy because of the essential services a Pokemon Center provides. Once you place the kit, construction takes one real-world day to finish.
Each Pokemon Center contains four main service areas: the Healing Machine on the counter, the 3D Printer to the side, the Trade Shop, and the PC Terminal.
The Healing Machine sits on the main counter of the Pokemon Center. Interacting with it fully restores Ditto's PP to maximum. The Healing Machine is free to use, but it can only be used once per in-game day. After using it, the machine needs time to recharge before it is available again. A visual indicator on the machine shows whether it is ready.
The Healing Machine is the only way to get a full instant PP restore. Other methods like eating food or resting only restore partial PP. Planning your Healing Machine use around demanding tasks like boss battles or Dream Island runs is important, especially early in the game before you have multiple Pokemon Centers rebuilt.
The 3D Printer is located to the side of the main room. It lets players duplicate furniture and decorative items by photographing them. The Pokemetal cost per print varies by item size and rarity. The 3D Printer is especially useful for multiplayer, since you can photograph items in a friend's world and print copies in your own. See the full 3D Printer article for details.
The Trade Shop operates on a barter system. Instead of buying items with Life Coins, you exchange materials and items with the shopkeeper. The Trade Shop's inventory rotates, offering different items and materials at different times. This gives players a way to convert surplus materials into items they need.
The Trade Shop is separate from the PC Shop (accessed through the PC Terminal). While the PC Shop uses Life Coins, the Trade Shop is purely material-based exchanges.
The PC Terminal is the main service hub inside the Pokemon Center. It provides access to several sub-menus:

Service | Description |
|---|---|
Challenges | View and track Daily Challenges, Regular Challenges, and special event challenges. Completing challenges rewards Life Coins. |
Shop | The PC Shop where you spend Life Coins on items, recipes, building kits, Habitat Hints, and PP Ups. |
Link Play | Access multiplayer features: host your island, visit friends, or manage Cloud Islands. |
Get Items | Receive Mystery Gifts and promotional items via internet connection or redemption codes. |
View your current Stamp Rally card, check progress, and redeem completed cards for Life Coin bonuses. |
The Mystery Gift feature is accessed through the PC Terminal under Get Items. There are two methods for receiving Mystery Gifts:
Via the Internet: Connect to the internet and check for available distributions. Limited-time events and promotional Pokemon or items are delivered this way.
Via Code: Enter a redemption code to receive a specific gift. Codes are distributed through official Pokemon social media channels, events, and promotions.
Mystery Gift items are deposited directly into your inventory. Check the Get Items menu regularly, since some distributions are available only for a limited time.
The Link Play feature on the PC Terminal provides three multiplayer modes:
Mode | Description |
|---|---|
Host Your Island | Open your island for friends to visit. Up to 4 players can be on one island at the same time. |
Visit a Friend | Travel to a friend's island to explore, photograph items for the 3D Printer, collect stamps, and help with building projects. |
Cloud Island | Access the persistent multiplayer Cloud Island. Progress on Cloud Islands is saved separately from your main island. |
When visiting a friend's island, you can use their Pokemon Center services including the 3D Printer. Photographing items in a friend's world and printing them back home is one of the best ways to share rare furniture designs. See the Cloud Islands article for details about persistent multiplayer.
There are five Pokemon Centers, one in each region of Pokopia:
Region | Notes |
|---|---|
The first area most players rebuild. Central location with easy material access. | |
Coastal area inspired by Vermilion City. Requires clearing the area's environmental decline first. | |
Mountainous mining area. Materials for rebuilding are abundant here. | |
The player's home region, a lush grassland sandbox area based on Pallet Town. | |
The final and most challenging area. Requires significant progress to unlock. |
Each Pokemon Center offers the same services, so rebuilding multiple Centers is mainly about convenience. Having a Center in every region means you always have a nearby Healing Machine and 3D Printer no matter where you are working.
Each of the main story regions (Withered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, Sparkling Skylands) has its own Pokemon Center that can be rebuilt. Palette Town also has a Center available once the area is sufficiently developed.
Prioritize rebuilding the Pokemon Center in your first region. The Healing Machine and PC Terminal are essential early-game services.
Save your Healing Machine use for when you really need it, since it only works once per day. Use food for smaller PP top-ups.
The 1,000 Life Coin cost for the Rebuilding Kit is steep early on. Focus on completing Daily Challenges and the Stamp Rally to earn coins faster.
Check the PC Shop daily for rotating stock. Rare recipes and Habitat Hints may only appear once.
Use the Trade Shop to convert excess materials into items you actually need.
When visiting friends via Link Play, photograph their furniture to print copies back home with the 3D Printer.
