Overview

Grow is a Pokemon Specialty in Pokemon Pokopia. Pokemon with the Grow specialty accelerate plant and crop growth in their vicinity. Place a Grow Pokemon near a farm, berry tree, or Dandy Flowers patch and the plants will mature noticeably faster than they would otherwise.

What it Does

• Reduces growth time for crops planted in soil

• Accelerates regrowth of flowers and plants in the area

• Works passively while the Grow Pokemon is in its habitat or following you

• Powers up the Leafage move when a Grow Pokemon is nearby (with the right food)

What Grow Speeds Up

A single Grow Pokemon in range shortens wait times across everything that grows nearby. The effect stacks with additional Grow Pokemon for the fastest possible maturation.

Grow Pokemon also power up Ditto's Leafage move when one is nearby and fed the right food, which is useful for clearing overgrowth quickly.

Tips

• Bulbasaur is the easiest early-game Grow Pokemon to befriend; build the appropriate habitat in Withered Wasteland right after the tutorial.

• Place Grow Pokemon habitats next to your main farm. Even one Grow Pokemon dramatically reduces wait times across all crops in range.

• During the Hoppip event, you can stack Grow Pokemon (Bulbasaur + Hoppip + Skiploom + Jumpluff) for the fastest possible plant growth in the game.
