Overview

Social events in inZOI let Zois host and attend gatherings ranging from birthday celebrations to flea markets and weddings. Each event type requires specific furniture items that must be placed through Build Mode before the event can begin. These items are purchased with Meow, the in-game currency, and are placed on the lot where the event takes place. Without the right furniture, the event either cannot start or will lack key interactive elements that guests expect.

Birthday Party Furniture

Birthday party furniture consists of decorative balloons and curtains used to set the scene for a birthday celebration. These items are among the cheapest social event furniture in the game, so decorating a full party space is affordable even for newer households.

Date Furniture

Date events have a minimal furniture requirement. The Picnic Mat is currently the only dedicated date furniture item, providing a cozy spot for two Zois to share a meal outdoors.

Fashion Show Furniture

Fashion show events use mannequins, accessory storage, and display stands to create a runway atmosphere. Mannequin prices vary based on the outfit style they display. Swimsuit stands and hat displays round out the selection, letting hosts create a full-featured fashion showcase.

Flea Market Furniture

Flea market furniture is the largest and most expensive category. It includes food trucks, vendor stands, photo booths, and campaign stands. Food trucks (Bibimbap, Ice Cream, Panini, Popcorn, Taco, and Vegan) sit at the top of the price range, costing between 9,400 and 9,700 Meow each. The Cafe Booth is the single most expensive flea market item at 10,000 Meow. Smaller stands and carts offer more budget-friendly options for Zois who want to host a market without spending a fortune.

House Party Furniture

House party furniture turns any home into a dance venue. The Dance Floor is the centerpiece at 3,180 Meow, while Disco Balls (both ceiling-mounted and floor versions) and a Jukebox provide the music and lighting. Beverage and Carbonated Water Dispensers keep guests refreshed, and the Smoke Machine adds atmosphere.

Performance Furniture

Performance furniture consists of structural truss pieces used to build stage setups. These modular components connect together to form overhead lighting rigs and stage frames. A complete stage build typically requires multiple truss columns, connectors, and end pieces.

Special Effects

Special effects items produce visual flair during events. Confetti, Soap Bubbles, and Stage Smoke are placed on event lots and activate during the gathering. Studio variants of Confetti and Soap Bubbles cost just 1 Meow each, making them the cheapest items in the entire social event furniture catalog.

Wedding Furniture

Wedding furniture transforms a lot into a ceremony venue. The Wedding Heart Lighting Decoration is the most expensive piece at 864 Meow, followed by the Wedding Canopy at 562 Meow. Arches, aisles, podiums, tables, and lights fill out the remaining slots. The Floral Wedding Cake serves as both decoration and an interactive object during the reception.

Tips and Strategies

When planning a social event, keep these pointers in mind:

• Start with required items first. Each event type has specific furniture requirements that must be met before the event can begin. Place mandatory pieces before spending Meow on optional decorations.

• Budget for flea markets carefully. Food trucks alone can cost nearly 10,000 Meow each. If you are on a tight budget, use smaller carts and stands (Hot Dog Cart, Cotton Candy Machine) instead of full trucks.

• Reuse furniture across events. Special effects items like Confetti and Soap Bubbles work at multiple event types. Buy them once and store them in your household inventory for future use.

• Studio variants save Meow. Studio Confetti and Studio Soap Bubbles cost only 1 Meow each, compared to 5 Meow for the standard versions. Use studio variants when available.

• Plan your wedding venue layout. Wedding furniture includes arches, aisles, and podiums that need logical placement. Set down the Wedding Aisle first as a centerline, then position the arch and podium at the front.
