inZOI features seasonal events tied to real-world holidays and cultural celebrations. These limited-time events add themed activities, exclusive items, decorations, and special interactions that are only available during specific time windows. Since the game's Early Access launch on March 28, 2025, KRAFTON has delivered three seasonal events.
Event | Update | Date Range |
|---|---|---|
Halloween 2025 | v0.4.0 | October 30, 2025 (permanent content) |
v0.5.0 | December 23, 2025 through January 31, 2026 | |
Lunar New Year 2026 | v0.6.0 | February 12, 2026 onward |
The Halloween event launched as part of the v0.4.0 update on October 30, 2025. It was the first seasonal event in inZOI's history and transformed cities with autumn-themed activities spanning both daytime and nighttime gameplay.

A new pumpkin crop was added that players could grow on farm plots or purchase from the Farming Supply Store and Pocket Market. Once harvested, pumpkins could be carved into jack-o'-lanterns at a crafting table. Carved pumpkins could be worn as hat items or placed as home decorations.
Recipe | Description |
|---|---|
Pumpkin Soup | A warm seasonal dish cooked from harvested pumpkins. |
Pumpkin Pie | A baked dessert requiring pumpkin and standard baking ingredients. |
Pumpkin Candy | A sweet treat that could also be given to trick-or-treaters. |
The trick-or-treat system centered around the Halloween Candy Basket. By placing this basket on their property, players attracted child Zois who visited every night to ask for candy. The interaction worked as a passive event: children appeared automatically at dusk and lined up at the basket.
Five luminescent ghost fish species were added that only appear between 6 PM and 6 AM. These spectral fish can be caught through the regular fishing system and displayed in aquariums. Ghost Fish glow in dark environments, making them especially appealing as decorations.
38 Halloween-themed cosmetic unlockables (costumes, accessories).
58 Halloween building items and decorations.
Ghost Play: Play as a ghost for three in-game days after death.
Funeral properties: Funeral Home, Columbarium, Cemetery.
The Holiday Festival launched with the v0.5.0 update on December 23, 2025, and ran through January 31, 2026. Christmas-themed booths appeared in each city's main park:
City | Festival Location |
|---|---|
Liberty Square | |
Barat Beach |
Choir performances from 12:15 PM to 10:00 PM daily at each park.
Themed crafting stations and activity booths.
Five gift boxes delivered to player homes, containing 19 build items plus special gifts on designated nights.
Over 50 Holiday Festival build items unlockable through event participation.
22 total holiday-themed construction pieces available as rewards.

The v0.5.0 update included 62 new winter-themed outfits with new hairstyles and accessories, 7 unlockable Holiday Festival costume pieces, and 173 new building objects including festive decorations and winter furniture.
The Lunar New Year event arrived with the v0.6.0 update on February 12, 2026, celebrating the Year of the Horse with traditional-themed content across character creation and building.
19 new Lunar New Year character items were added:
2 new hairstyles with traditional styling.
9 outfit sets inspired by traditional attire.
4 shoe types matching the Lunar New Year theme.
4 hats including traditional headwear.
Equipping Lunar New Year items unlocks exclusive social interactions that are not available with regular clothing. This adds extra flavor to social gameplay during the celebration period.
55 new Lunar New Year-themed Build Mode assets were added, including traditional stairs, doors, roofs, furniture, and lighting. These allow players to fully decorate homes and neighborhoods with a traditional Lunar New Year aesthetic.
To celebrate the Year of the Horse, KRAFTON released a Horse Mask accessory with exclusive interactions through a giveaway hosted via the "Brainstorm with Kjun" event on the official inZOI Discord server. The Ullim Temple area received a renovation including an Ullim Cafe update and a new Hanok (traditional Korean architecture) property.
