Comprehensive expansion with all dining locations, cooking details, and player-built restaurants
Dining out in inZOI is kiosk-based during Early Access. There are no sit-down restaurant experiences with waiters, menus, or table service. Instead, Zois walk up to a kiosk at a food venue, select from available dishes, pay Meow, and receive the food. They can then eat standing or find a nearby table.
Orao Oro Restaurant — the main restaurant in Bliss Bay. Uses the kiosk ordering system. Located in the town center.
Cafe Mar — a beachside cafe serving food and drinks. Good atmosphere for dates and social events.
Various street food stands along the boardwalk and near public areas.
Vending machines scattered around the city for quick snacks and drinks.
Plesio Gaming Cafe — a gaming cafe in Dowon that also serves food and drinks. Zois can eat while playing games.
Korean-inspired street food stalls located throughout the city, offering quick meals.
Convenience store food at AZ Convenience Store.
Vending machines for snacks and beverages.
Order food through the Pocket Market app on the smartphone (press P). The food and beverage tab has prepared meals: pancakes, sushi, steak, pizza, pasta, baked goods, and more. All purchases are delivered directly to the Zoi's front door. A notification appears when delivery arrives. This is the most convenient way to eat without leaving home, and it satisfies the Hunger need like any other meal.
Zois cook at home using a stove, oven, or other kitchen appliances purchased through Build Mode. Click the cooking appliance and select a recipe. Ingredients can be purchased through the Pocket Market's Fresh Ingredients tab or harvested from a garden. Produce does not spoil in the current build.
Most recipes make one serving for the cooking Zoi. Some recipes are labeled "big enough to share with others" and produce enough food for the whole household. The Cooking skill improves meal quality, unlocks new recipes, and increases the emotional satisfaction Zois get from eating the food. Higher quality meals restore more Hunger and provide positive moodlets.
An earlier version of the game charged Meow for ingredients taken from the refrigerator. This was removed in a patch. Now all ingredients are obtained separately through the Pocket Market or gardening, and the refrigerator stores them for free.
Players can construct their own restaurants, cafes, and bakeries in Build Mode. To make a venue functional, search "kiosk" in Edit Property and place food service kiosks. NPC Zois in the world visit the venue and order food from the kiosks. The December 2025 update added business ownership, which lets players manage these venues as income sources.
Building a restaurant requires: a lot (community lots can be edited for free), kitchen equipment, kiosks for ordering, tables and seating, and appropriate furniture for the dining area. Customer behavior and service mechanics are still being refined in the current build.
Players have been requesting several dining improvements:
Social dining with automatic conversations when Zois eat together.
Proper sit-down restaurants with waiters, menus, and table service.
More variety in food venue types (buffets, food trucks, barbecue spots).
Cooking competitions and food-related social events.
Restaurant careers (chef, waiter, food critic).
