Meow (also written as Mew) is the everyday currency in inZOI. Everything costs Meow: furniture, clothing, vehicles, groceries, and utility bills. A separate premium currency called Purr Coins (also called Meow Coins) exists for certain in-game store purchases.
Full-time jobs are the main income source. Pay varies by career and rank. Some of the highest-paying positions:
Criminal Boss (Street Soldier Boss / Gangster Boss): 2,169 Meow per 9-hour shift.
Lawyer Partner: 2,040 Meow per 6-hour shift — the most efficient at 340 Meow/hour.
Pro Gamer / Football Player: 1,998 Meow per shift.
Professor: 320 Meow/hour.
Zois can sell things they create. Paintings and pruned bonsai plants go on the Pocket Market app on the smartphone. Digital creations (books, programs, videos, music) are sold from the computer by clicking "Can Sell." Physical items in inventory can be sold instantly by selecting them and choosing "Sell." Sale price scales with the Zoi's relevant skill level.
Each good-quality gardening harvest earns about 500 Meow. Produce can also be used for cooking.
Zois can open a savings account at Narae Bank in Dowon or Southwest Bank in Bliss Bay. The first tier requires a minimum deposit of 250 Meow and matures in 3 days with interest. Higher tiers unlock larger deposits. Bank loans start at 300 Meow (confirmed within 3 hours) and go up to 15,000 Meow.
Lottery tickets cost 5 Meow each and are sold at stands in public areas like Central Park. Winning odds increase with good karma or when the Zoi has a "Four-leaf Clover" thought bubble.
The money cheat in Psycat's Guide gives 100,000 Meow per click, with no limit on uses.
When a household's Meow drops below 1,000, the game automatically sends a 2,000 Meow welfare check. This prevents families from being completely stuck.
Bills arrive every Friday via the smartphone from the Tax Department. They cover electricity, water, and property tax. Only adults living independently pay bills — parents handle their children's share.
The payment deadline is roughly two days. If unpaid, a second notice arrives with penalties, then electricity and water get shut off. Affected Zois develop Unpleasant and Uncomfortable status effects. The cheats commands stopUtilityBills and autoUtilityBills can bypass the bill system entirely.
When buying a house you can't afford, check "Receive a move-in assistance loan" to take a bank loan at roughly 1% interest with predictable payment schedules.
The Loan app on the phone offers quick cash: 2,500 or 5,000 Meow at 5% interest. Miss payments and a debt collector visits. Some items get seized and become unusable until you pay off the balance.
