The Holiday Festival is a Seasonal Event introduced in the v0.5.0 update (December 23, 2025). This festive celebration brings winter holiday decorations, special activities, and seasonal atmosphere to all three cities in inZOI. The Holiday Festival was the first major seasonal event added to the game.

Overview

When the Holiday Festival is active, all three cities (Dowon, Bliss Bay, and Kucingku) receive festive decorations and special atmospheric touches. The event transforms public spaces with holiday-themed decorations and introduces seasonal activities for Zois to enjoy.

Festive Decorations

During the Holiday Festival, cities are decorated with seasonal elements:

• Holiday lights and illuminations on buildings and streets

• Seasonal decorative items in public spaces and community lots

• Festive atmosphere with snow effects (in cities with winter weather)

• Holiday-themed items available in Build Mode for home decoration

Seasonal Activities

The Holiday Festival introduces special activities for Zois:

• Seasonal social interactions and holiday greetings

• Special holiday-themed events at Community Lots

• Festive food and drink options at restaurants and cafes

• Holiday decorating for homes and Lots and Housing

Event Timing

The Holiday Festival is tied to the in-game calendar and the Time and Seasons system. The event activates during the winter season in-game, bringing festive content to the simulation. This was introduced alongside the broader seasonal events system that tracks real-world and in-game time.

Connection to Other v0.5.0 Features

The Holiday Festival launched alongside several other major features in the v0.5.0 update, including Business management, Family Trees, Multitasking, and the Trial and Justice System. Business owners can take advantage of the holiday season with festive offerings at their establishments.
