Overview
The Holiday Festival was the first winter seasonal event in inZOI, introduced with the v0.5.0 update on December 23, 2025. The event ran for approximately five and a half weeks, ending at midnight on January 31, 2026. It featured festive booths, daily choir performances, and a substantial set of unlockable Build Mode items themed around winter holidays.
The event was structured around three festival sites, one in each playable city, with shared booth types and a synchronised gift distribution system. Most rewards were limited to the event window, though several ingredients (the cookie crafting kits) became permanently available afterward through the Pocket Market app on the smartphone.

All three sites used the same booth structure and reward system, so players could attend any site to collect rewards. Choir performances ran daily at all three locations during the activity window.
Booth Types
Three booth types operated at each festival site. Each booth offered a different set of items or rewards.
Booth | What It Offers | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Snack Booth | Winter snacks including candy canes, hot chocolate, and gingerbread cookies. | Consumable items with mood and hunger effects. Themed around traditional winter holiday treats. |

Gift Distribution
In addition to booth purchases, the festival had a structured gift distribution that delivered rewards directly to players who participated.
Festival Starter Gift: Accepting the festival announcement text triggered the delivery of 5 Holiday Festival Gift Boxes to the player's home, totalling up to 19 different Build Mode items.
Special Midnight Gifts: On the first and second nights of the festival, 1 Holiday Festival Special Gift Box arrived at midnight, each yielding up to 3 different items.
Booth Purchases: Up to 32 limited-edition items per Gift Booth box purchased at the festival.
Total Rewards
Across all sources combined (starter gifts, midnight gifts, and booth purchases), the event distributed approximately 50+ unlockable Build Mode items and 7 unlockable clothing items. The clothing additions included gloves, scarves (a new accessory category), 4 outfit sets, 1 hat, 1 headpiece, and 1 pair of shoes.
Choir Performances
Daily choir performances ran at each festival site within the 12:15 PM to 10:00 PM window. Choirs performed traditional holiday carols, providing background atmosphere and an opportunity for Zois to socialise around the festival venue. Attending a choir performance contributed to the social need and produced positive memories tied to the festival.
Cookie Crafting Kits
The Ingredients Booth introduced three cookie crafting kits that let Zois bake themed cookies in their own kitchen. Each kit produced a distinctive cookie shape:
Cookie Man Crafting Kit produces gingerbread-man cookies.
Cookie House Crafting Kit produces gingerbread-house cookies.
Cookie Tree Crafting Kit produces holiday-tree shaped cookies.
After the event ended, the cookie crafting kits became permanently available through Pocket Market under the Fresh category, allowing players to continue baking themed cookies year-round.
Limited-Time Items
Most Build Mode rewards from the Holiday Festival were locked to the event window. Players who did not collect items between December 23 and January 31 could not obtain them through normal play afterwards. The cookie crafting kits were the most notable exception, becoming permanently available through Pocket Market.
Future seasonal events tied to the new Calendar System introduced in v0.7.0 (March 2026) are expected to use a more permanent recurring schedule, where the Holiday Festival could return as part of the in-game winter calendar rather than a real-world timed event.
Connection to the v0.5.0 Update
The Holiday Festival was one of the headline features of v0.5.0, which was the December 2025 update that also introduced business ownership, the crime system, multitasking, Baking, and Drink Mixing skills. The festival fit thematically with the winter season and provided a content-rich event for the holiday window.
