Tailor's Shops are specialized clothing and armor vendors found in towns and settlements across Pywel. They are the primary source for cloth and leather armor sets in Crimson Desert, and they also sell Outfit Supply Contracts that grant automatic deliveries of regional clothing gear. Unlike Equipment Shops, which stock weapons, shields, and plate armor, Tailor's Shops focus entirely on wearable cloth and leather items tied to the culture and aesthetics of each region.
There are 12 Tailor's Shop locations confirmed across the continent. Standard tailors serve settlements ranging from small outposts to major cities, carrying between 3 and 43 items. The Camp Tailor is the largest shop in the game by item count, with 43 items sold by two merchants. One dedicated shop, the Pets Tailor's Shop, sells only pet outfits rather than gear for the player character. Shops become accessible as Macduff liberates regions and progresses through the story.
Most tailors sell an Outfit Supply Contract tied to their region. Purchasing a contract grants a one-time delivery of a regional clothing set and is an efficient way to acquire full armor sets without buying each piece individually. For a complete list of all vendor types and their locations, see the Vendor Directory. For general vendor mechanics such as restocking, repurchase tabs, and selling rules, see the Vendors article.
All Tailor's Shops share the same core trading mechanics as every other shop type in Crimson Desert. Opening the trade window lets you browse the merchant's stock, buy items directly, and sell unwanted clothing from your inventory. The following rules apply across every tailor location:
Midnight restock. Shop inventories refresh every in-game midnight. Limited-stock consumables and materials replenish at that time, but armor pieces typically have no quantity cap and remain perpetually available.
Repurchase tab. Items you sell to any merchant appear in a buyback menu for a limited period. The buyback price is higher than the sale value, so be careful when selling equipment you may want to reclaim.
Outfit Supply Contracts. These are one-time purchases that do not restock after being bought. They grant a regional clothing set automatically. Each region's contract is sold exclusively by the local tailor and cannot be purchased elsewhere.
Story-gated access. Some shops only open after liberating the surrounding area or completing specific faction quests. A tailor listed in the directory below may be inaccessible early in the game.
Pet outfits. The dedicated Pets Tailor's Shop sells outfits designed for companion animals rather than the player. These items cannot be equipped on Macduff and will not appear in the player's armor slots. See the Pet Shop article for related pet gear and supplies.
Dye compatibility. Cloth and leather armor sets purchased from tailors can be recolored at the Barber Shop and Dyehouse. The Dye System article explains which item types accept dyes and how to apply them.
The table below lists all 12 confirmed Tailor's Shop locations, the merchant or merchants who staff each shop, the number of unique items in their inventory, and notable stock including armor sets and Outfit Supply Contracts.

The Camp Tailor is the largest Tailor's Shop in Crimson Desert, offering 43 items through two merchants, Diederik and Eric. As Greymane Camp functions as the player's main base of operations, the Camp Tailor serves as a central hub for cloth and leather armor throughout all stages of the game. The dual-merchant setup means players should check both tabs, as each merchant stocks a distinct portion of the full 43-item catalog.
The Ynitium set is among the notable armor options sold here. The Camp Tailor also carries a broad range of regional and general-purpose cloth and leather sets, making it a reliable one-stop destination for outfit upgrades before venturing into new areas. Because the camp is always accessible, this shop is particularly useful for players who want to stock up on clothing without traveling to distant settlement tailors.
The Calphade Tailor's Shop is staffed by Adrina and carries 8 items. Its notable stock includes the Outfit Supply Contract - Calphade for the Calphade region and the Weasel Leather set. The Weasel Leather armor pieces (Weasel Leather Armor, Weasel Leather Boots, Weasel Leather Cloak, and Weasel Leather Gloves) form a cohesive light-armor set suited for players who favor agility-focused builds. Each piece provides DEF 3 with Lightning Resistance Lv.1. The Weasel Leather Armor can also be crafted at a Blacksmith using the "Leather Armors of the World Vol. I" crafting manual, so this shop is especially useful for acquiring boots, cloak, and gloves to complete the set. The Outfit Supply Contract sold here is the most efficient way to acquire the full Calphade regional outfit in a single purchase.
Martina operates the Delesyia Tailor's Shop and keeps a focused 6-item inventory centered on the Delesyian Cloth set. The Delesyian Cloth armor pieces reflect the academic and institutional character of Delesyia, making this shop a natural stop for players engaging with the region's questlines. The set includes the Delesyian Cloth Attire and Delesyian Cloth Cloak, both of which provide Ice Resistance Lv.3 suited to cold environments. The compact inventory means Martina's shop is best treated as a destination specifically for Delesyian-themed outfits rather than a general clothing stop.
The Demeniss area has two separate Tailor's Shops, each serving a distinct part of the region.
The in the main settlement is run by Helga and stocks 8 items, including the Demeniss Cloth set. This shop caters to players exploring the city and its surrounding districts.
The Demeniss Wildlife Park Tailor's Shop is staffed by Carla and carries 6 items. Its location near the wildlife park gives it a slightly different regional flavor, though it carries cloth and leather items consistent with the broader Demeniss area. Players visiting the wildlife park for quests or exploration will find Carla's shop a convenient place to resupply on regional gear.
Renata runs the Hernand Tailor's Shop and stocks 8 items, with the Kanta Cloth set as the highlight. Hernand is one of the earlier regions players unlock, and Renata's shop provides access to starter-tier cloth armor that complements the Equipment Shops in the area. The Kanta Cloth set pieces offer a culturally distinct look tied to the Hernand region's identity. Note that the name Renata also appears at the Tommaso Tailor's Shop, suggesting the same NPC may staff both locations or that the name is shared across two distinct merchant characters.
Fabian operates the House Thorel Tailor's Shop with a small 5-item inventory. As one of the noble houses in Pywel, House Thorel stocks clothing items tied to its estate and faction identity. Access to this shop is likely gated behind completing relevant House Thorel questlines or reaching an alignment with the faction. With only 5 items, Fabian's inventory is specialized rather than broad, and players visiting should know specifically which items they are looking for.
The Pailune Tailor's Shop is managed by Yolanda and offers 8 items, including the Pailunian Cloth set. Pailune is a major city hub with significant commercial activity, and its tailor shop reflects the city's status by carrying a full regional armor set. The Pailunian Cloth set has pieces consistent with the city's prosperous coastal character. Because Pailune is also home to the largest Equipment Shops location in the game, a combined shopping trip to both shop types in the same visit is efficient.
The Pets Tailor's Shop is a unique location staffed by Diederik (sharing a name with the Camp Tailor merchant) and carries 7 items. Unlike every other Tailor's Shop, this location sells exclusively pet outfits rather than armor or clothing for Macduff. The items here cannot be equipped on the player character and will only appear in the pet equipment slots. Players looking for Pet Armor and other animal gear should also check the Pet Shop for related supplies. The 7 pet outfit options make this the most specialized tailor in the game.
The Tariv Tailor's Shop is one of the smallest in the game, with only 3 items available from merchant Zephidel. Tariv is a smaller settlement, and the limited inventory reflects the constrained supply reaching the area. Despite its small size, the shop sells an Outfit Supply Contract - Tariv for the Tariv region, which makes it a worthwhile stop for players who want to collect regional contracts. The other two items are expected to include the Tariv Cloth Attire and Tariv Cloth Cloak, cloth pieces tied to the local area.
The Tommaso Tailor's Shop is staffed by a merchant named Renata (the same name as the Hernand Tailor's Shop merchant) and carries 7 items. The shop serves the Tommaso area and its settlement, offering cloth and leather armor options appropriate for the region. An Outfit Supply Contract - Tommaso for the Tommaso region is among the items available. The 7-item inventory puts this shop in the mid-range for tailor locations, making it a solid stop when traveling through the Tommaso area.
Aldric operates the Varnia Tailor's Shop and stocks 8 items. The shop serves the Varnia region with regional cloth and leather armor options. Varnia's cloth armor pieces (the Varnia Cloth Armor and Varnia Cloth Cap) are documented individual items in the game, suggesting the full Varnia set is available through Aldric or through field drops in the area. An Outfit Supply Contract - Varnia for the Varnia region is also available here. With 8 items, Aldric's shop matches the inventory size of other major settlement tailors like Calphade, Demeniss, Hernand, and Pailune.
Outfit Supply Contracts are one-time purchase items sold by Tailor's Shop merchants. Each contract corresponds to a specific region and grants a delivery of that region's clothing set when purchased. Contracts are not restocked after purchase and are exclusive to the tailor in the region they represent. The following contracts have been confirmed across Tailor's Shops in Pywel:
Contract Name | Sold By | Shop Location |
|---|---|---|
Demeniss Wildlife Park Tailor's Shop | ||
Contracts for Camp Tailor and House Thorel have not been confirmed. The Camp Tailor's broad inventory may include regional contracts not yet fully documented.
Several tailor locations are notable for selling complete regional Armor sets. Collecting full sets provides visual consistency and, in some cases, set bonuses or special appearance options in the Dye System. The sets below are sold as individual pieces at the listed tailor and can also be obtained via the corresponding Outfit Supply Contract where one is available:
Weasel Leather Set (Calphade Tailor's Shop, Adrina): Includes Weasel Leather Armor, Weasel Leather Boots, Weasel Leather Cloak, and Weasel Leather Gloves. A light leather set (DEF 3 per piece, Lightning Resistance Lv.1) suited for mobile playstyles.
Ynitium Set (Camp Tailor, Diederik/Eric): One of multiple sets available at the Camp Tailor. The full set covers Ynitium Leather Armor, Ynitium Leather Boots, Ynitium Leather Cloak, and Ynitium Leather Gloves. This is also Kliff's starting armor set and provides DEF 3 with Lightning Resistance Lv.1 per piece.
Delesyian Cloth Set (Delesyia Tailor's Shop, Martina): Regional cloth armor reflecting Delesyia's academic character. Includes the Delesyian Cloth Attire and Delesyian Cloth Cloak. Both pieces provide Ice Resistance Lv.3.
Demeniss Cloth Set (Demeniss Tailor's Shop, Helga): A full cloth set tied to the Demeniss settlement. Purchase the Outfit Supply Contract - Demeniss to receive the complete set in one transaction.
Kanta Cloth Set (Hernand Tailor's Shop, Renata): Regional cloth armor for the Hernand area. Available as individual pieces or via the Outfit Supply Contract - Hernand.
Pailunian Cloth Set (Pailune Tailor's Shop, Yolanda): Full cloth set reflecting Pailune's prosperous coastal culture. Available via the Outfit Supply Contract - Pailune.
Use the Camp Tailor as your default stop. With 43 items and two merchants, the Camp Tailor covers more armor options than any other tailor in the game. Check here first before traveling to distant shops, since the camp is always accessible.
Buy Outfit Supply Contracts before completing a region. Contracts are one-time purchases that do not restock. Buy the regional contract at the local tailor before moving on to ensure you can always return and collect the full outfit set later if needed.
Visit Pailune and Camp tailors on the same trip. The Pailune Tailor's Shop and the nearby Equipment Shops location together cover cloth, leather, and weapon gear in one area. Combining both shop types in a single visit saves travel time.
Check House Thorel early if allied. Fabian's 5-item inventory is small, but House Thorel-exclusive cloth items are not available elsewhere. If pursuing a House Thorel questline, unlock the shop as soon as possible.
The Pets Tailor's Shop is separate from the standard Pet Shop. Pet outfits sold by Diederik at the Pets Tailor's Shop are cosmetic items for companion animals. The Pet Shop carries food, equipment, and taming supplies. Visit both when managing your pets.
Dye purchased cloth armor at the Barber Shop and Dyehouse. Most cloth and leather sets from tailors accept the game's full dye palette. The Barber Shop and Dyehouse lets you recolor your outfits after purchase.
