Mount Connection (Patch 1.06.00)
Reading this sighting marks the White Lion location on the map. As of Patch 1.06.00, that location is also the access point for a permanent Lion mount. After defeating the legendary white lion at the marked site near Vernia, a regular pride of lions begins to spawn at the same location after a few in-game days have passed. The alpha of that regular pride is tameable through the Special Mounts trust loop and can be registered as a permanent rideable mount.
Players who buy this sighting primarily for the legendary hunt should plan to revisit the site after the legendary kill, bring meat and a low-attack tool such as a Bamboo Spear, and run the tame on the regular pack.
