Propeller Spear is a two-handed spear in Crimson Desert. It is classified as an Uncommon-grade weapon with a base Attack of 6.
As a two-handed weapon, this spear requires both hands to wield, preventing the use of an off-hand item. Two-handed weapons compensate with higher damage output and wider attack arcs compared to their one-handed counterparts.

The Propeller Spear is recovered as a one-off pickup at the Aeronautical Research Base, a fortified facility on the far southeastern side of the World Map. The route through the base ends in a circular arena where the Aeronautical Research Base Guard Captain is fought as a mini-boss; once that area is clear, the spear sits propped against a railing inside a small tower on the left-hand side of the arena. See the Aeronautical Research Base Walkthrough section below for the full step-by-step approach. There is no merchant who sells this spear, and it does not appear in standard enemy loot tables.
Spears excel at maintaining distance from enemies. Use thrust attacks to poke enemies while staying outside their melee range. Sweeping attacks can catch groups of enemies, but be careful not to overcommit against fast opponents.
As a two-handed weapon, this spear prevents the use of off-hand equipment. Consider your build and playstyle carefully when choosing between the higher damage of two-handed weapons and the versatility of one-handed options with shields or dual-wielding.

The Propeller Spear is a wind-affinity polearm whose thruster tip rapidly compresses the surrounding air. Each successful strike releases a fierce gust that knocks the target backward. The wind effect can be charged up to five times, with each charge carrying an independent five-second cooldown before it can fire again.
The spear has a durability bar of 50/50 and degrades with use. There is currently no confirmed way to repair or mend it once durability is spent, so many collectors stash it in their vault rather than using it in routine combat. Treat it as a show weapon or a situational crowd-control tool.
Travel to the far bottom-right of the world map into the Gray Forest region.
Unlock the fast travel point next to the abandoned research base.
Avoid approaching the main gate directly: the automated turrets and patrolling robots will open fire on sight.
Loop around the perimeter, climb the outer wall at a low section, and head for the tall wooden watchtower inside the compound.
Climb the ladder on the tower, ascend the wooden steps, and turn back on yourself at the platform. The spear is propped up against the railing directly behind you.
The Aeronautical Research Base is not a sprawling complex; the layout is a single linear pathway that climbs through the perimeter wall into a circular open arena at the top. Most of the resistance on the way up is composed of standard ranged guards and patrolling robots that fall to ordinary combat without much trouble. Push through the path rather than trying to pick fights from outside, since the layout funnels every approach into the same corridor.
The path opens into a wide circular space where the Aeronautical Research Base Guard Captain is fought as the area's mini-boss. The arena has to be fully cleared before the tower side door is safe to use, so resolve the Guard Captain encounter and finish off any remaining patrols before climbing.
After the arena is clear, look for a small tower on the left-hand side of the circular area. Reaching it requires a short boost jump up onto the structure rather than walking in at ground level; from the top of the boost jump, a ladder runs up the side of the tower into a small chamber.
Boost-jump onto the tower. Stand at the foot of the tower's left-hand wall and use the boost jump to clear the lip. The mini-boss arena is the only safe spot to set this up; do not try the climb while patrols are still alive.
Climb the ladder. From the boost-jump landing point, the ladder leads directly into the tower's interior corridor.
Through the doorway and up the staircase. The corridor at the top of the ladder leads through a doorway and onto a short staircase. Take the staircase up to the platform.
Turn around at the top. At the top of the staircase, turn around and look back the way you came in. The Propeller Spear is propped against the railing directly behind the staircase exit, ready to be picked up.
The pickup adds the spear to your inventory at base Attack 27 with Attack Speed Lv.1, in line with the rest of the spear category at the same tier. The accompanying durability bar of 50/50 applies the moment it is equipped, so the Durability Warning section above is the relevant guidance from this point forward.
Use the charge-and-release timing defensively to knock enemies off cliffs or away from downed allies.
Save durability for set-piece fights or for displaying the weapon in housing rather than grinding basic mobs.
The thruster gust can interrupt certain attack animations, giving brief openings against groups.
