Chipmunk is a small wildlife creature found in the world of Crimson Desert. Chipmunks, commonly seen in forests, have some remarkable climbing and jumping skills. They mainly consume nuts, seeds, fruits, and occasionally insects. They bury nuts and seeds to retrieve later, but they sometimes forget to bring those back and inadvertently aid forest regeneration

How to Obtain
This creature can be found in the wild. Approach carefully to observe it and earn a Knowledge entry.
How to Tame
Patch 1.09.00 added roughly thirty small animal species that can now be registered as Pets, and the Chipmunk is one of them. A registered pet follows you and loots fallen enemies. To tame one, raise its Trust from 0 to 100, then hold the on-screen prompt to choose Take In.
Many of the new small pets share a single farm field in the Delesyia area, on the strip of farmland north of Tinkerton. Look for a leaning tower standing in the middle of the field with three flax patches (the grass with white flowers) beside it, the spot players call the golden apple hedgehog farm. Walk through the flax and the animals dash out in one direction, then circle back through the patch to make them respawn.
Trust is built by feeding (drop the food on the ground next to the animal so it walks over to eat) and by petting. Each animal has a favorite food that gives the most Trust per feed, and a chipmunk's diet runs to nuts, seeds, and fruits. Petting adds a smaller amount of Trust per interaction.
