Third Mural
![]()
The Third Mural closes the Senkamati lore sequence. The narrator has stopped counting the years and is preparing a final ritual involving a relic from distant lands, a piece of the lore arc that ties directly into the modern game's Senkamati ruin investigations.
In-Game Text
Countless winters have passed since the Day of Great Sorrow. I stopped counting.
Almost no one remains. Each act of resistance grows harder than the last.
The mountain city stands empty. My people were wrong, and have already paid for it with oblivion.
One final recourse remains: a relic from distant lands. With it, I will either restore my god or perish.
At the full moon, I will perform the ritual before the sacred beasts of the Lord of Death, upon the altar. I will draw my own blood with an obsidian blade and pray.
Lore Context
The "obsidian blade" detail aligns with the in-game Ritual Dagger, hinting that the Ritual Daggers players collect are physical relics of the events the Third Mural describes. The "altar" the ritual takes place on is the same surface inscribed in Scratches On The Altar, the closing lore item that records the speaker's failure.
