Hull Bracings are the defensive plating that fits your ship's hull slot. Windrose offers one baseline and three modded lines (Keelhold, Iron Resolve, Standfast), each with a base (Rare) and Ascended (Epic) tier. Each line trades hitpoints, repair-uptime, or material cost, so the right bracing depends on whether you're running siege slugfests, trade runs, or cheap scouting missions.
Bracing Line Overview
Bracing | Effect | When to Use |
|---|---|---|
Keelhold | Taking damage no longer affects the duration of repair kits | Long slugfests where repair uptime is the limiting factor |
Iron Resolve | Fortified hull: higher raw HP pool under combat | Tanking heavy broadsides and surviving prolonged engagements |
Standfast | Improvised bracing: cheaper mats, modest HP bonus | Budget PvE scouting and short trade runs |
