Overview

Flower farming is part of inZOI's gardening system. Flowers are one of several plant types that Zois can grow outdoors on their property. Unlike vegetable crops that require constant attention, flowers grow on their own once planted and serve primarily as decorative elements. The March 2026 update expanded the flower system significantly, adding seed purchasing, fertile soil planting, bouquet creation, fragrance crafting, and a connection to the new Florist Career.

Growing Flowers

Flowers are classified as growing plants in inZOI's Build Mode, found under the outdoor category. There are two ways to start growing flowers:

Build Mode Placement

1. Enter Build Mode on your Zoi's property.

2. Navigate to the outdoor section of the build catalog.

3. Select from the available flower varieties under growing plants.

4. Place the flower bed on an outdoor plot with soil access.

Seed Purchasing and Planting

With the March 2026 update, Zois can purchase flower seeds from the Flower Shop in any city and plant them on fertile soil plots on their property. This mirrors how crop farming works, but flowers still require less maintenance. Seeds give players more control over which flower varieties they grow, compared to the pre-set options in Build Mode.

Growth and Maintenance

Flowers and saplings grow on their own without player intervention. This sets them apart from other plant types:

Because flowers require no maintenance, they are the lowest-effort plant type for outdoor decoration. The Gardening skill still governs the variety of flowers available for planting. Higher skill levels unlock rarer and more visually striking flower types.

Bouquet Making

The March 2026 update introduced a bouquet-making system. Zois can combine harvested flowers into bouquets at a crafting station or through the Flower Shop.

• Bouquets serve as gifts that can be given to other Zois to boost relationships.

• Different flower combinations produce different bouquet styles.

• Bouquets can be placed as decorative items in the home.

• The Florist Career involves making bouquets professionally as part of the daily work routine.

Fragrance

Flowers can be used to add fragrance, which is a new crafting element added alongside the bouquet system. Zois with higher Gardening skill levels can craft more complex fragrances from their harvested flowers.

Flower Shop

A Flower Shop is available in all three cities (Dowon, Bliss Bay, and Cahaya). Players can purchase pre-made bouquets by selecting the Flower Shop Basket at the counter. The December 2025 (v0.5.0) update added the initial Flower Shop, and the March 2026 update expanded it with seed purchasing and the Florist Career gameplay.

Connection to Florist Career

The Florist Career is a dedicated active career that uses the flower farming and arranging systems as core gameplay.
