AZ is the only retail career available in Dowon, making it the go-to option for players who want active retail work without moving to Bliss Bay.

The task list appears in the top-left corner of the screen during each shift. Tasks are divided into morning and afternoon blocks, each with time limits. All tasks at AZ can be completed in one area of the store, making this one of the most beginner-friendly active careers in the game.

The afternoon counter duty is longer at 90 minutes compared to 60 minutes in the morning. The restock task has a generous 5-hour window but only triggers when customers have emptied the shelf.
Completing shift tasks fills the promotion gauge. Active careers allow promotion in approximately 3 to 4 working days (about one in-game week), which is significantly faster than the 8 to 10 days typical for rabbit hole careers. If the gauge is full but no promotion happens, there is no vacancy for the Manager role yet.
Three unexcused absences result in being fired. Always make sure your Zoi shows up on scheduled work days. Shortening your schedule may slow promotion progress.
One of the biggest challenges at AZ is keeping your Zoi on task. During counter duty, Zois on autonomy may wander off the stool to do other things. Stay zoomed in on the store and redirect your Zoi if they start to leave their post. This is especially important during the 90-minute afternoon counter session, which is long enough for autonomous Zois to get distracted multiple times.

AZ is the only retail store in Dowon. It shares the same salary tiers as Bliss Bay's McKenzie and Posey's. The Dowon Deli offers a higher Cashier salary at 540 Meow but lacks a Manager promotion path. Despite being classified as part-time, the AZ Manager position at 918 Meow per shift pays more than several full-time entry-level careers.
