Farever is an online co-op action RPG developed and published by Shiro Games, set in the world of Siagarta. It entered Steam Early Access on 6 May 2026 for PC. Players take on the role of adventurers known as Farseekers, exploring a shared online world either solo or alongside friends. The game blends fast, skill-driven action with platforming exploration, loot collection, and crafting, and it lets you shape a personal playstyle by mixing your class, your weapons, and the Arsenal system.
This page is a starting point for new Farseekers. For deeper topics, see the dedicated pages on the Combat System, Attributes and Progression, Professions and Crafting, and Multiplayer and Co-op.
What Is Farever?

Farever is a shared online world rather than an offline or self-hosted game. You join the world of Siagarta solo or with friends, can cross paths with other players, and can also retreat to quieter areas or private dungeons for a more personal adventure. Steam labels the game as single-player, MMO, and online co-op all at once, which reflects how flexibly it can be played. Combat is dynamic and centered on smart skill usage rather than rigid rotations, and the world rewards curiosity through platforming, hidden routes, and loot.
The game is in Early Access, which Shiro Games expects to last about a year while content and features are expanded with community feedback. For details on what is in the build now versus what is planned, see Early Access and Roadmap.
The Core Loop
A typical session in Farever moves between several connected activities. You explore the regions of Siagarta, fight enemies using the dynamic Combat System, traverse the world through platforming and movement tools covered under Exploration and Traversal, gather loot, practice your jobs through Professions and Crafting, and refine your build by combining your class abilities with weapon skills and the Arsenal.
Activity | What You Do |
|---|---|
Explore | Roam two regions of Siagarta, discover routes, and reach new areas through platforming. |
Fight | Use skills drawn from your class and your weapons in dynamic, reaction-based combat. |
Loot | Collect gear and weapons that enhance your stats and grant new abilities. |
Craft | Learn meaningful jobs to gather materials and create useful items for yourself and your allies. |
Build | Mix your class, your equipped weapons, and benched Arsenal weapons to create your own playstyle. |
Character Creation
When you create a character you choose one of four classes and then personalize your appearance with many customization options. Your class is selected once at the start and defines your core identity: it grants access to specific class skills, gives you a unique signature resource, and determines which weapons and gear you can equip. The four Early Access classes are listed below.
Class | Signature Mechanic |
|---|---|
Builds rage by attacking enemies and spends it to unleash signature skills. | |
Generates Spark through signature abilities, which empowers their spells. | |
Chains combos to generate combo points and deliver deadly finishing blows. | |
Gains access to prayers whose effects change depending on previously used skills. |
The fourth class is currently called Priest in the live patch notes, though earlier posts referred to the same class as Cleric. They are the same class. You can hold up to 8 characters per account, so you are free to try several classes over time. Deleting a character requires a typed confirmation, which makes accidental deletion unlikely.
Roles in Farever are not locked to a class. Tank, healer, and damage-dealing roles are all adopted organically through your choice of skills and gear, so a Priest can still hit hard or absorb damage depending on how it is built. See Multiplayer and Co-op for how this plays out in groups.
Choosing Your Server
The world of Siagarta is divided into several regional servers, and each server is split into layers that group players together while avoiding overcrowding. You select your server from the main menu before entering the world. To reduce latency, Shiro Games recommends connecting to the server in the region closest to you. If you want to play with friends, joining the same server lets you party up and invite each other through Steam.
Early Access at a Glance
The current Early Access build gives Farseekers a substantial slice of Siagarta to explore. The headline figures from Shiro Games are summarized below.
Element | Early Access Count |
|---|---|
Regions | Two regions of Siagarta |
Classes | 4 (Warrior, Mage, Rogue, Priest) |
Jobs | 6 |
Weapon skills | 100+ across many unique weapons |
The two regions available in Early Access are Skover Island and the Valley of Eternal Autumn. The wider setting and its inhabitants are covered under World of Siagarta and Enemies and Factions, while the instanced challenges you can run solo or in a group are covered under Dungeons and Instances.
Beginner Tips
Pick the regional server closest to you in the main menu to keep latency low.
Try the weapons you find rather than holding out for one favorite. Every weapon is unique, levels up its own skills as you use it, and feels different in each class.
Experiment with the Arsenal system early: benching a second weapon adds its skills to your bar and can completely change how your character plays.
Use the in-game feedback and report tool to flag bugs, since this is an Early Access build that is actively being patched.
Do not feel locked into a single role. Your skills and gear, not your class, decide whether you tank, heal, or deal damage.
You can create up to 8 characters per account, so there is room to explore every class without deleting your main.
