Overview

Voyages of Sir Catfish is a book in Crimson Desert. The voyage log of Sir Catfish, the terror of the seas. Whenever he had more loot than his ship could carry, he would intentionally wreck the vessel and meticulously record the coordinates for later retrieval. This log reveals the locations of every shipwreck near Hernand.

Shipwrecks Near Hernand

Using the Voyages of Sir Catfish places shipwreck markers on the minimap for every wreck along the Hernand coastline. Known wrecks include the Waterfall Shipwreck and the See Shipwreck, with several more scattered along the shore in both directions. The markers are permanent once revealed, so the book can be consumed as soon as it drops and still guide later return visits for salvage and abyss finds.

Faction Quest Prerequisites

Sir Catfish only takes over the fishing town of Velia after the Hernand faction story has progressed far enough to change the state of the map. That means clearing the House Roberts, House Alfonso, and House Circus lines before the Velia Fisherman's Guild is seized. Once the guild is taken, the quest Shadows in the Mist unlocks and leads directly into the boss fight. The book drops alongside Sir Catfish's helm, and the same encounter teaches the Body Slam skill via the Watch and Learn system.
