Herspia

Correct the Hespia display title to Herspia and distinguish named horse care and acquisition guidance from older stat and fee claims.
Herspia is the first mount obtained in Crimson Desert. This horse is automatically granted to Kliff shortly after completing the prologue, during the Unknown Space main quest. Earlier advice calls Herspia a trusty early companion that remains viable throughout the adventure through the horse leveling system.
Earlier long-term stat and performance comparison: While Herspia does not have the raw stats of the legendary horses like Royler, Rokade, or Camora, it can be leveled up through regular riding. The more you ride Herspia, the more its defense, speed, stamina, and other attributes improve, making it a solid long-term mount for players who invest time in their starter horse.
The named mount guide and breed record both use Herspia, matching the spelling already used in this body. The guide identifies it as Kliff's default breed from Unknown Space after the prologue. It lists Dash at level 2; Drift and Back Kick at level 3; Sprint at level 4; and Swimming III, Double Jump and Quick Start at level 5. The record also names those level-based skills, using Hind Kick for the kicking entry. These are source-recorded breed references rather than proof of every older combat, gear, stat-roll or performance comparison.

Herspia is obtained during the Unknown Space quest, which takes place shortly after the prologue. The older sequence notes say Sebastian offers Kliff a wild horse capture, scripted so it cannot be missed, with recall by holding Down on the D-Pad and choosing it on the wheel. The breed guide confirms Unknown Space and also describes wild taming, occasional stable sales and theft routes, without confirming every older sequence or preset input. Patch 1.11.00 prevents mount summoning in dangerous zones, so the earlier at-any-time recall statement is not unrestricted.
Earlier stat notes described Herspia's initial values as randomized like all wild horses in Crimson Desert, followed by a three-stat comparison. The named breed guide and record display specific combat and movement fields; those displays alone do not resolve the earlier universal randomization rule or establish the exact table effects below.
Stat | Effect |
|---|---|
Speed | Affects gallop pace and maximum sprint speed |
Determines how long the horse can sprint before becoming fatigued | |
Strength | Affects combat capability while mounted, including back kick damage |
Earlier all-attribute growth and performance comparison: Horses level up the more you ride them. As Herspia gains levels, its defense, speed, stamina, and other attributes all improve. This means that a well-leveled Herspia can outperform many wild horses you encounter later in the game.
The horse-level guide describes a horse in Crimson Desert as having a trust level visible in Inventory. As Trust increases, the guide describes new movement and combat abilities. It names riding, feeding and petting as ways to raise it, with a maximum of Level 5. Earlier notes recorded a range of 1 to 5, assigned Trust gain to healing and described more responsive controls during mounted combat; that healing increment and exact responsiveness are not independently established by the guide.
Earlier slot-and-effect overview: Like all horses, Herspia supports four equipment slots:
Slot | Effect |
|---|---|
Champron | Protects the horse's head and face, increasing defense |
Covers the body, reducing incoming damage to the horse | |
Saddle | Improves handling and stamina efficiency |
Increases rider stability and mounted attack power |
Earlier equipment-priority opinion: Equipping better gear on Herspia is one of the fastest ways to improve its performance. Even basic horse equipment purchased from stables significantly improves the riding experience.
The following food and item effects are earlier comparisons, not newly measured restoration values for every named item:
Item | Effect |
|---|---|
Restores moderate health | |
Small health recovery | |
Health recovery | |
Extreme health boost | |
Amplifies stamina |
The horse-level guide feeds while mounted through Inventory and the Feed Horse option. Earlier notes also describe dropping food for the summoned horse to eat and identify injury through coat damage or sitting on grass; those exact autonomous-feeding and visual conditions remain earlier accounts. Older stable advice combined Retrieve and Heal Horse and quoted copper or silver coins by injury severity. The horse-healing guide instead says interacting with a stable restores full health without a cost. Keep that free healing interaction distinct from any charge for retrieving the horse.
The horse-healing guide also recommends Force Palm Heal after summoning to restore full health, using Spirit and requiring the ability to be learned. The older torso-strike and Healing Palm label are retained as earlier input guidance, not a newly checked prompt or resource amount.
Do not underestimate Herspia. With proper leveling and equipment, your starter horse can carry you through most of the game.
Feed Herspia regularly to keep its health topped off and build trust faster.
Invest in a good Saddle early. The stamina efficiency improvement makes a noticeable difference in how far you can ride before needing to rest.
Once you unlock the ability to tame additional wild horses, compare their stats with Herspia's current stats. A wild horse with better base stats may be worth switching to, but a well-leveled Herspia is often competitive.
If Herspia becomes fatigued and refuses to run, stop sprinting and let its stamina recover naturally, or feed it a Horse Stimulant for an immediate stamina boost.
