Overview
Dual Wielding Mastery is a passive melee combat skill in Crimson Desert, exclusive to Oongka. It belongs to the Stamina (Blue) branch of the skill tree. This passive ability allows Oongka to wield two-handed weapons with a single hand, enabling him to equip a greathammer in his offhand. When a greathammer is equipped as a secondary weapon, the damage of Rampage and Spinning Slash is increased significantly.

Lv. 2 | Leap forward and slam weapon into the ground
Lv. 3 | Rush toward a target with a powerful forward strike

Lv. 5 | Instantly swap between weapon sets during combat |
How Dual Wielding Works
Once Dual Wielding Mastery is unlocked, Oongka can equip a two-handed weapon (such as a greathammer) in his offhand weapon slot. Normally, two-handed weapons require both hands and cannot be paired with another weapon. This passive overrides that restriction for Oongka due to his immense orc strength.
To set up dual wielding, open the radial menu by holding left on the D-pad. The top and top-right slots represent the primary and secondary weapon. Replace the offhand slot with a greathammer to activate the dual wield configuration. The combination of weapons does not affect the dual wield moveset; the same attacks are available regardless of which specific weapons are paired.
Damage Bonus
The primary benefit of equipping a greathammer in the offhand is the damage increase to two of Oongka's key AoE skills:
Rampage: Oongka's signature cleaving attack gains increased damage when a greathammer is in the offhand. This turns an already powerful mob-clearing skill into one of the hardest-hitting area attacks in the game.
Spinning Slash: The spinning melee attack also benefits from the greathammer damage bonus, making it more effective for hitting multiple enemies in a wide arc.
Combat Tips
Dual Wielding Mastery is a game-changing passive for Oongka. Prioritize reaching Armed Combat Lv. 4 as soon as you have enough Abyss Artifacts to invest.
The Dekarr Greataxe (Oongka's starting weapon) paired with a greathammer creates a devastating dual-wield loadout for mid-game content.
Even though Dual Wielding Mastery enables dual wielding, Oongka loses access to shield-based defense. Compensate with aggressive play and Dodge timing.
Focus on Rampage and Spinning Slash in your skill rotation to maximize the greathammer damage bonus.
Dual Wielding Mastery does not affect ranged attacks from Oongka's Hand Cannon. The bonus only applies to melee skills.
Pair Dual Wielding Mastery with Raging Lightning for devastating AoE coverage. Raging Lightning's spinning attack benefits from the raw damage stats of both equipped weapons.
