Use Axiom Force abilities to reveal vulnerable sections, and dodge the sweeping energy attacks it unleashes periodically.

Known Bug

Ballista Health Bug: A known issue exists where retrying or abandoning the Ultimate Weapon fight after depleting the Blackstar's health causes the Blackstar's health bar to not fully recover on the retry. This can make subsequent attempts easier or harder depending on the state. This bug has been documented on the official Steam Community page. Players should be aware that the boss health may behave unexpectedly if they restart the encounter.

Walkthrough

After completing Precise Execution, the advance continues deeper into enemy territory. The name of this quest reflects the reality that progress has stalled; the allied force must regroup and find another way forward. Engage the Blackstar using a combination of ranged weapons and close-range abilities. Damiane's long-range skills can be especially useful during this fight.

Tips

• Bring plenty of healing items. The Blackstar fight is lengthy and punishing.

• If the ballista health bug occurs, you may want to load a manual save rather than using the retry option.
