Overview
The A.T.A.G. Welder is a utility tool for the ATAG Mech in Crimson Desert. Unlike the offensive weapons available for the ATAG, the Welder serves as a repair tool that restores the mech's battery/health in the field. This is extremely valuable because the ATAG's battery functions as both its power source and health pool; once it is depleted, the mech becomes inoperable.
Without the Welder, the only way to restore a damaged ATAG is to visit one of the ATAG factories near Gorthak and pull a lever to deploy a fresh mech. The Welder removes this dependency, allowing players to sustain their ATAG during extended combat encounters far from any factory. It is considered an essential upgrade for anyone who relies on the mech regularly.
